I myself use Opera Mini because of its sync ability with the Opera I have on the desktop, and the fact that it compresses the data so I dont get too much of a hit on my data plan.
For full html viewing I use Dolphin HD.

Can't fault the built in one on the Desire, love it. Pinch to zoom rules.

Would definitely recommend dolphin hd - its fast, has gesture functionality, tab browsing is easy. Imo its faster than the stock sense browser but not as fast as opera. For me I deleted opera since it shows the pages worse than both dolphin and the stock one (which is a google one I think).

I use either the built in one or Dolphin HD.
What don't you like about the default browser? Might be able to recommend something better based on that

I use the vanilla android and love it. More than the HTC one. I'm not sure if it will work with a HTC kernel though. Although, Can't see why not.

I recommend Skyfire as my main now, as it's seems pretty fast and I like the way it handles videos.

Use Opera Mini if I have a pants reception though as the way they host/load sites is great for that.

skyfire all the way!
i've tried the others and for me, personally, skyfire is by far the best!
the tab browsing, bookmarks, ability to play videos and a whole load of other stuff is perfect for me! and it loads pages quickly..considering the page

however, it doesnt have the gesture thing but, again, for me personally, that's not a huge deal coz it just pissed me off 95% of the time lol

If I really wanted a different browser, I think I would go for xScope. While I was trying other browsers (about 2 months ago) this was the "best" one....
The only thing that bothers me with stock browser is battery drain. I think it drains the battery the most of all apps...

I'd like a browser that was better at removing history, or had a built in InPrivate Browsing mode.

Especially as you can go online, clear your history, close your browser, go back online in 4 days and accidentally press back and it can reload the page you were on 4 days ago!

Long press the BACK button when you've finished using Dolphin HD and it gives you an exit option where you can clear cache and browsing history as the app closes.
