Default Help needed, delete browser bar searches!

Here's the deal

I have an standard rom (orange) HTC Desire on 2.2

The wife uses the phone to browse the Internet occasionally and she really would'nt be impressed if just as she was going to search for w w w. dorethyperkins.com ...... up popped www. donkeyporn.co.uk for example!

How can I delete all previous searches

Ps. I've tried deleting everything under Internet Settings, History, Cache etc

Also, that silly app from the market doesn't work

Any help would truly be appreciated....

Do you mean in the search widget? If so........

Main Menu
Settings
Search
Clear Search Shortcuts

If really worried you could try......

Going into the browser
Menu
More
Settings
Reset to Default

But you'll prob lose your bookmarks.
