Default Deleting mail.

Can someone please tell me why every time I open or refresh my mail box does the Desire delete my messages?

I have tried changing a few settings but nothing makes any difference.

Can I also get the mail back once its gone?

Thanks.

I had the same problem ages ago. In the end I got so fed up of it I installed the Yahoo mail app and forwarded all my mail to that.

Stock mail app really is poor.

Are you only using your Desire to access your emails or are you also using a pc based email client (such as Outlook, IncrediMail etc. as opposed to Webmail based access) on another machine?
