Default Would anyone buy this?

HTC Desire UK model. Unlocked and rooted with dgb.

Been in case and screen protector since day 1 with original box and charger.

What is a fair price.

Thinking of keeping my wife's LG Optimus p500 for mountain bike tracking.
Would only get about 30 for that.

On eBay, you'd probably be lucky to get anything over 60-70. My brother just bought a second hand Desire from eBay for 50 and it was in pristine condition, although it was as stock. Advertising it as rooted can either give you a very specific target audience - and chances are they know what they're in for. Advertising it as stock also includes people who "just want a modest smart phone" (of course I say modest when comparing it to the leaders in the market today!)
Crazy I know, as I've put a lot of money and time in my Desire and it's been reduces to ~1/10th of the price I initially got it for.

I've seen rooted Desires go for 60-70 on eBay plus this is unlocked. If it's on eBay just know your maximum that you wanna pay and if it goes higher then you drop out.

When was that and did you trade it in as rooted?

Bare in mind, that's trade, not cash.

That's cool, will definitely consider trading mine in when I get some cash but I plan to get a tablet first and foremost.

Got myself a Nexus 7 and its seriously lovely. So smooth and a complete joy to use and have been tethering with my beloved Desire so outdoors connectivity was never a problem. Sadly about a week ago my Desire went to sleep and never woke :-(

Couldn't warrant the money per month for an S3 so have ended up getting an S2, the phone I turned down for my Desire. Rooted immediately and so far very happy and only paying 19 per month with unlimited internet.

Really just wanted to say if you're looking for a 7in tablet the Nexus is hard to beat even by far more expensive models but went off on one a bit :-)

Have read the latest builds have had the issue fixed. Google are also sending out a new device before you return the faulty one so if there are issues they are easily sorted.
