Default Internet Radio Stream
Are there any free apps out there that play live streams I.E audio or video when clicking on a link while surfing the internet on the htc desire?

Im trying to listen to an internet radio stream that isnt listed in all those android apps that you can download like XiiaLive Lite.

On the PC you would go to the radio station website and click on the listen now link and windows media player or realplayer would pop up and play the stream. Is there anything similar on android that just plays the link?

Anybody got any suggestions?

Have you tried the skyfire brower? I've found it works with most media content quite well.

That doesnt work either. When you click on the link to play it opens up my text message compose screen everytime.

RadioTime isn't free but it's only $2.99 and works well.

Also try Yourmuze. The Streaming service for Mobile Broadcasting | Home. You can set up a list of stations, and access them on your phone with m.yourmuze.com. I did this for my BlackBerry and just discovered that the DInc plays it also, using the free Stream Media Player app. All free.

UNregular is where it's at. Uncensored, multi-genre and great shows, Boston's finest local music as well.
