Default Lag when waking from standby?

My nephew noticed a bit of lag when waking my DNA from sleep. I hadn't noticed it before but now I do. The screen basically wakes in three stages: First the background and notification bar icons light up, then the main screen icons and clock light up, finally the notification bar gets a shade lighter. Again, I didn't consider this lag until my nephew pointed it out. I'm wondering if this is normal or if the whole screen and icons etc all light up simultaneously. Anyone?

Mine wakes all at once. No lag there or anywhere on this phone for me.

So nobody else is noticing the way the phone wakes from sleep in a layered way? It's very very subtle/fast, but the home screen doesn't appear all at once, it's a quick 1,2,3 succession. Or is this just my phone?

Nope, super speedy for me. In fact, I haven't experienced lag in anything. Maybe yours has a screen problem?

HTC has broken the boundaries again with the DROID DNA. This 5-inch behemoth comes to compete directly with the Galaxy Note 2, but what gives it the edge over the popular Samsung device? Well, this guy has a full HD 1080p display. Mix that with a p... Read More
