Default Ad block in the browser

I've been using firefox / noscript for quite a while and just got reminded how bad the ads are when browsing using the droid. Does anyone know how modify the hosts file, or somehow get some kind of adblock for the droid?

I'm not searching for how to block the ads in games that are ad supported. I just want some way to block the ads when browsing the Internet. As for why, big speed difference, big difference on my data usage, and some ads take up so much room that they make the text very hard to read for the rest of the site.

Thanks ahead of time.

Up! I have exactly the same question.
Since the original question was posted almost a year ago, maybe there are more news?

I think that somebody is working on a plugin for Dolphin HD that will block ads in that browser. It may be available - I haven't really checked.
