Default Always Unlock to Home Screen

I'm wondering if there is a way to set the phone so my home screen comes up every time my screen is off and I press the end call/power button and unlock the phone. I know the home key is only one more button to push after that but I'd like to go straight the home screen after unlock. Any ideas?

All I can think of is to download Spare Parts. Use it to change the "end button behavior" to "home, then sleep. This will make it so that you go to the home screen the first time you hit the end button, and locks the phone the second time you hit end. Either than that just hit home then lock. I do not consider either of my suggestions to be efficient, but it's something.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. If anyone else has suggestions let me know.
