Lets see your UI layout!
I'll start.
I only use 5 of the 7 screens. The far left and far right are empty.

MOD EDIT: Please don't post images wider than the site. Either reduce the size, or post a link to the image

Unfortunately it's not a simple process.
- Download the Android SDK here:
Android SDK | Android Developers
- Run 'SDK Setup.exe' and install the Android 1.5 package and USB driver package
- In Windows Device Manager use the USB driver that was downloaded to install the USB driver in Windows
- Make sure you have Java installed, and Java /bin/ directory is in your Windows PATH variable (In a command prompt type "java" and if it says unrecognized command you need to do this: Find your Java /bin directory, should be something like C:\Program Files\Java\jre.ver.number\bin\ and go to a cmd prompt and type: path C:\thatdirectoryhere)
- Enable USB Debugging on your phone: Settings > Applications > Development
- Run ddms.bat in the /tools/ directory of the Android SDK with your phone plugged in
- Select your phone from the list on the top left of the window
- Go to Device > Screen Capture to capture and save screen shots

Most of those seem to be on the Droid. I'd like to see what Eris users have done with Sense UI.

Looks like all the apps in the market either cost $$$ or require root. Too bad... I'm pretty proud of my layout, too. I'm not about to mess with that SDK crap. I'm sure it'd be even more of a pain in the ass to adapt that to Mac.

With all this open source shit, how hard can it be to code a simple program that let's you take screenshots?

AFAIK something about the way Android works, you need root access to the phone to capture the screen. Screenshot apps exist, they just require root access.
So that's just an assumption, but if it were possible without root, I'm sure apps would already exist.

Great layout, if I might ask a question on screen two, the Bluetooth, GPS, WiFI. Mobile toggles - what is this.
This is my wifes phone (shes not a forum person, me - love this stuff) but my playtime with her phone is fairly limited.
Thanks

Stock HTC widgets:
Long press, or the right arrow key -> HTC Widgets -> Settings then they will be there.

In some of the other layout threads I have seen this widget:
Anyone know what widget it is? Or does it come with one of the home replacements?

How did you get the 4th screen to show up people? Is that a widget? Application? I would like to have something like that for my favorite people or common callers, etc.

If anyone is looking for custom icons for their layout, I have made some for my Eris and your more than welsome to use them if you like. Some are 100% custom, others I found online and edited to match my others in size. I have an album under my profile that has them all:
Android Forums - View Profile: thetomlin2
Here are a couple examples:
Albums
Bloo
Contacts (People)
Flickster
Market
Slacker

Create a folder on your SD card where you want to keep them ... I named mine Icons. Copy the files to that folder and install BetterCut from the Market. Used BetterCut to create shortcuts on your screen, it allows you to change the Icon. When you click the "Change Icon" option, navigate to the Icon folder and select the icon you wish to use. Its actually quite easy. You can also change the name under the icon using BetterCut

On the hompage click + > Shortcut > Better Cut > Activity
It takes a little while for that screen time come up, but it will give you every app and program on your phone. Select the activity, it then allows you to change the Icon and change the Name. Then click Create.
Let me know if this worked for you

Mainly the mail apps. I set the black one you did as my exchange email and the MAC email, but when it synchronized with their server it changed back to stock. Also under edit shortcuts there are swveral of the same listed. For example camera there is 3, camcorder there is 2, mail 4, messaging 2 is that normal? Is that taking up disk space?

The second one os for Exchange ... the Mac one is for your Mac Email. I have never used a Mac, so I had no idea what to use. If you have a better idea post an image and I will create the icon with that.
