Default Security enabled apps (radio players)?

Background: Bought an Eris several weeks back. Had AOnline Radio and DroidCumulus installed. Phone broke, got it replaced at store with another Eris. Tried to download both apps, could only find/download mms lite, a similar but inferior app by the same company. Emailed support, and their response was:

"AOR, DroidCumulus are Security enabled apps.
If your device is not categorized as secured as per android market,
then you will not be able to see the app."

Does anyone know what this means? Is there a setting that I can change? Why would one phone be security enabled and not another that should be identical?

I did NOT allow installation of non-Market apps in my first Eris iteration, so I'm pretty sure that this isn't the cause.

I have a feeling it's the same problem I'm having with WeatherBug Elite and PicSay Pro. Verizon directed me to HTC, HTC directed me to Google, and Google does not seem to be doing much about it.

Installed MR2, but can no longer install certain apps

I previously downloaded an app, but had to reset my phone, now I can't find certain apps in market. - Android Market Help
