Default Advanced Task Manager

Is there any real reason that I should have the full .99 version of advanced task manager as opposed to the free version?

But are there differences?

Plus, supporting the developers of these apps seems like a good thing (not admonishing, just speculating as I have only bought one app and that's a game, the "full version" of brickbreaker).

Yes, there are differences and it is good to support developers as I have with more than one app.

The main differences appear to be:

- Bulk-Quick uninstall (as opposed to Quick uninstall)
- Auto end apps
- Free is ad supported

Default Memory

How do I find out how much free running memory my phone has at a particular time? Like I've heard people say less than 30 is bad, and I don't know how to check mine.

Task Killers are unnecessary. Android has it's own built in task killer that frees up memory.

As far as the OP, It's only .99, and the auto-end function rocks. I keep the main apps safe, but have it kill anything else that is idling. I also have the widget button which lets me press it to end all tasks not excluded.

I also use the $.99 version of this app (the first app I ever purchased), and it lists the amount of free memory on the bottom of the main screen, along with the number of processes currently running.
