mobile network

good morning everyone i woke up this morning to find that my 3g was no longer there wifi works fine and i have restarted my phone many times there is just no mobile network single it keeps saying standby to connect to mobile network can anyone help me with my problem

No biggie. Wasn't trying to give you a hard go. Just so many (not-so-smart) posts about the update tend to get annoying.

Seems several states are down, but several are still up as well.

3G is down here in central Ohio... I have to say that this hasn't happened to me on verizon, and when it did it was usually a BIS outage on my old BB... man this sucks

If your 3G isn't running, here's the solution: dial *228 and select option 1. It turns out that re-programming your phone brings the 3G back, it did for me at least. Hope this helps!

It was down in St Paul, back up now ... my battery took quite the hit, down 12% in the half hour the network was down.

I just called Verizon and they said it was a Nation Wide outage.
She said some towers are working and some are not.
That is why it is so spotty for people.
She had no ETA either on when it will be fixed.

Mine showed it was back up, but i couldnt get the browser to load anything. after dialing *228 and pressing 1 to re-program, everything started working again!
