power manager says im runnin 2G?

So I don't know if anyone else has used the app "power manager" but it says that i am running on 2g... however on the top of my phone it says 3g's with 2 arrows... I was wondering if i actually am running on 3g and the power manager app is screwy... or if i really am just running on 2g...? thanks
