I wonder if the majority of those whining about not getting 2.1 yet are people under the age of 25 or so that are the same group that think they are entitled to everything they want right now. I die a little inside whenever I read posts with grammar this bad. These forums kill me.
Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. Bad grammar and spelling are pet peeves of mine.
Try spending some time over on some of the electronics forums I frequent. The majority of members are over 25 and the spelling and grammar is atrocious!

While it may not be perfect grammar wise Im not sure what the fuss is? Must have struck a nerve I guess. The generation of o noes!!!111!!!one!!!!eleven!!! Seem to turn into grammar police when they don't have a better comeback :P
It has a little more to do with generalizing an entire generation of people as "having the world handed to them on a silver platter" and for the VAST majority of us that are PATIENTLY waiting, its a bit offensive to be generalized against like that. ESPECIALLY when its done by starting an entirely new, useless thread here on these forums. As far as the grammar goes, while its never anything I make mention of, when you make a useless thread, you can expect useless replies. Someone delete this crap before too many people see it...
BTW, about my prior Akron, OH comment, it was sarcasm, I know several very pleasant people from Akron.

Get used to being lumped into categories. Part of life. Look around at the most vocal I want I want type threads and tell me what age bracket you think they are in? Maybe you aren't part of that group and if not good on you but It's not uncommon for your peers to drag ya down. But anyway this thread makes me giggle and that's what matters!

Two points, first, getting grouped into categories is one thing, having harsh remarks made about over a quarter of the world's population is just stupid and makes a person look very unintelligent. Second, you ask me to say what age bracket "I think" people are in based on a typed sentence? I better call Miss Cleo for that one...
I guess the good thing about this thread is that it's getting people talking about new stuff.
Don't believe what anyone tells you, stereotyping is done by everyone and will never go away. You will always be grouped with others one way or another.

It's actually Malibu and Cranberry, and its delicious, especially after spending the day on the beach. I couldn't find anyone who reported their age in their profile, and I haven't bothered to look at the settings. ::shrug::
I still don't understand what age has to do with waiting for the OTA? Are the older folks getting the update first? Did I miss the thread about old people getting served first? Exactly what it the age cut off for this cuz I'll be 29 soon and I feel pretty old.....

You got it! That's how they're going to make sure the OTA is working right. Start with the 80 and over group. Then go down ten years at a time. As the age gets lower there are more whiners....... or I mean users of smart phones.
You know what I'm never doing? Being one of three non-blacks at an all-black party where the only liquid in the apartment is gin and there are hot dogs but no buns and hamburger patties stacked in aluminum trays as finger food. Night ends with me making grass angels in a parking lot median and Chevy Cavalier that was just fine in its parking spot now turned 90 degrees to the left.
While I am fine with 1.5 and content to wait a little longer for 2.1 while the bugs are being squashed, I hope we get the OTA before people start flinging feces.

Verizon owes me...I should get OTA before any of you because I probably pay more than you do each month. If I don't have OTA in the morning, I'm gonna call a rep and just curse him/her out and laugh about it all day. As long as I ruin someone else's day along with mine, I'm happy. Silver Platter? Ha! The funny thing is the older generation forgets that when they were 20 something their elders were saying the same exact thing about them. Albeit over using that new telemachine or what not but either way they were still horrible people with subjective morals. Give us 20 somethings another 20 years and we will be bitching about the generation behind us unless you realize how ridiculous it all is and remember what it was like to have fun/be fun.
