Wink Retiring my Eris

I've held off as long as I can, but now it's time to bid good-bye to all of you here on the Eris forum.
Got a Verizon Galaxy Nexus (finally).
I've had the Eris for 2 1/2 years and really liked it, especially rooted and with a custom ROM. I'm keeping it as a back up for myself or my kids that are on my account.

Enjoy that shiny new Nexus, and come back to visit your Eris friends from time to time.

Will do.
I still keep my Eris on my desk.

I knew it was time when the XDA forums moved the Eris to the legacy devices.....
I will say the custom ROMs really extended the life of the Eris. I got a new battery for $20 on line and used it every day.

But now I am kinda diggin the Nexus. Especially the LTE and I get to keep unlimited data.

The Eris was a great, especially since it was my first smart phone. I still have mine, my kids use it as a mp3 player and to play some games
