Default how to delete saved words

I guess I've saved a bunch of jumbled letters as a word does anyone know how to delete words you've saved?

Are you using 1.5 or 2.1?

I think you have to delete the whole dictionary for 1.5, but you can edit it in 2.1.


For 2.1
Look under Settings > Language & Keyboard > Touch Input and then User dictionary is at the bottom.

Yeah, your whole dictionary is gonna have to be gone if you have 1.5. On 2.1 you go to keyboard, input, user dictionary and choose from there.

Have you tried looking for an app?

What word were you trying to delete? I've deleted some bad ones in the six months I've owned my Eris. Brings a smile to my face just thinking about them.

How did you delete them on the Eris? I use Handcent, and I can't find the dictionary.

on your keyboard there is the settings button (2 buttons to the left of the space bar) then select "user dictionary". then delete words you dont want. <-- this is for 2.1.
