When I try to use Sense to view photo albums for one friend, it shows that they have zero photo albums. The official facebook app does the same. If I use the browser to visit her profile, I can see her numerous photo albums easily, but damnit! I want the software to work like it's designed and this little bug seems so bizarre. As far as I can tell, the missing albums bug only applies to this one friend.

I would be able to easily overlook the bug... except that one friend is my fiancee.

i have the same problem too man. with my girlfriends album.

I should clarify that I discovered this on 2.1v2 and v3 did not correct the issue.

This happened to me like a week or two ago, but I was using Bloo to view facebook albums and was literally getting nothing.

I assumed it was facebook's servers..

I thought this was an issue when I was on 1.5. What I didn't realize is that when I went to that persons contact and went to photo albums, I wasn't letting it gather the info for the albums. It just said there were no albums and I would exit. Once I let it sit for 30 seconds it updated and showed the albums.

I have had this issue from the beginning. It seems to be random, some ppl I can see their albums and some say they don't have any albums, which I know has to not be right because if you have a profile pic then you at least have one album. It hasn't bothered me too much except for it happens with my daughter's account. She has tripled checked to make sure it isn't some way she sent up permissions on her acct. and she says other ppl don't have a problem viewing them. I rarely log into FB except on my phone but I am pretty sure when I log on thru the computer I don't have this problem. I am still on 1.5 but was hoping maybe this problem would have gone away with 2.1.

Five minutes later, still no photos...

I'm trying unlinking her facebook account and re-linking it. So far, no luck.

Same thing happening to me on the Incredible. Signed out of FB for HTC Sense, reinstalled the FB app, rebooted the phone, and re-synced FB for HTC Sense... Still nothing!

Hi all,
I know it's been several months from the original post, but I ran across this and was amazed that no one has answered this for you.

Facebook has a setting that disallows your friend's applications from accessing your photos. @Chopstick2U, your girlfriend probably has this setting set. So you'll be able to see all the photos on Facebook directly, but no third-party application will have access to her photos. (One small exception -- if she has the application, she will have access to her own photos.)

It's a setting that is either on or off... so she's not picking on just you. Basically she said, "none of my Facebook friends will, when using a 3rd party application, have access to my photos."

Currently, the setting is here:
Account > Privacy Settings > Edit your settings for Applications and Websites > Info accessible through your friends

What boxes are checked or unchecked will determine whether your friends have access to your photos.

In short, nothing is wrong with your Android. Facebook must treat the FB app the same as a third-party app... and maybe it is. I haven't actually looked at it.
