Default 2.1 v3 leak problems

I am currently running the leaked version of 2.1 from way back. I am now trying to install 2.1 v3. I have followed all the instructions, but when I turn my phone of, the hold vol down and end keys, nothing happens. It begins unzip, then stops, and just sits on the menu screen. Any ideas?

If you don't see the status bar, you may need to re-download the PB00IMG and reflash. Check the size off the file you have on your sd card now, should be around 104mb. Someone jag a problem recently where the file only ended up being 76mb. Just an idea, hope this helps.

First, delete any previous versions of PB00IMG from your SD card/computer.

Then, double check your PB00IMG file and make sure there are no numbers following the file name (ie...PB00IMG(1) or (2)). If there are, rename the file to PB00IMG, place at root level of SD card and reboot again w/ vol down and call end buttons.

Not sure if this is your problem, but if it is you should be on your way to v3.
