Default ObexService ??

Anyone know what this is? Settings > Applications > Running Services. ObexService and Touch Input are running, and have the same running time as phone has awake time. Is this normal? - Thanks

I believe on Android it refers somehow to Bluetooth. In general I think it is used in FTP and other file transfer applications.

Touch input I assume is the stock keyboard.

So, this "Obexservice".. does it do anything besides sync the calendar? Would it be bad if I killed it? I only sync my calendar manually when I make changes. I wouldn't want to kill a needed process though. Anyone in the know on this?

Thanks!

It is persistent after being killed.

It will restart next time the phone is shut down/restarted.

I have no use for it, and I'm sure rooters who feel the same and don't use bluetooth get rid of it.
