Default PDANET and DINC2

I've just rec'd the Droid Incredible 2 and am wondering if PDANET will work? I have an unlimited plan with Verizon and wonder if there are any repercussions should I find a need to use it? Thanks.

I've never done this before and was'nt sure if the should be a post or thread. Please advice

Just wondering: I see that there's a feature called "Mobile Broadband Connect" when I connect my DInc2 to my pc. If I can use this to use my phone's 3g service for my computer (which I'm assuming is its purpose), what would you need pdanet for?

How does that work? Do they charge by the hour or is it on a monthly basis? I used to use Easy Tether on my Eris; is pdanet free now?

You have to pay for the mobile wifi hotspot to have access to the tether. It charges against your 2 GB allowance in data for the hotspot. PDANet is free, but the paid version will give you access to secure sites (https:://)
