My HTC Incred 2 will not bring up a display during a call. If I hit the power button, which normally brings up the screen, the menu buttons at the bottom will light up for a second but then go off. It is not until the other caller hangs up that I can turn on the display. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Not sure exactly what is happening, but I suggest making sure that, when you hit the power button, you do not have your fingers or hand in the area of the Verizon logo (particularly the check mark), as that is where the photo/proximity sensors are located.

I never have to push the power button to light the screen during a call. It sounds like a hardware problem. Try the triumvirate:

1) Reboot
2) Battery pull
3) Factory reset

If that doesn't fix it the phone needs to be replaced.
