Hope this helps

I'm liking the way the 4g looks but most of all its 4G, mostly concerned with battery but lets hope it's good. I went through a terrible time w/ battery on my original Inc and don't want to go through all that again w/ the 4G.

Just wanted to remark that the screen could possibly be SLCD2 as opposed to the SLCD on your Dinc2. Meaning the screen will not only have a higher ppi but a better screen technology. It'll be lighter and thinner than your Dinc2 as well, but a bit taller. Your dinc2 is only single core, and this is not only dualcore, but has the best dualcore processor available atm. Definitely worth upgrading to if you like the screen size of your Dinc2.

I know the video from the HTC rep that says the 4G is SLCD2 but what makes it a SLCD2? Is it because of the increase of pixels of 275?

I was suprised to see the pixels jump from 233 to 275 with the 4G, that is 42 more pixels and the screen is the same size. This thing should look amazing.

Thanks all. Guess it was wishful thinking that the new design would be closer to the DINC2 physically. I have two of these:

Please Select Your SlipGrip Holder

and they are AWESOME, was hoping not to have to get new ones...oh well.

Its the screen technology, meaning viewing angles will be better and colors will be more vibrant. Im pretty sure the main difference between SLCD and SLCD2 is the inclusion of IPS technology. Pixel density has nothing to do with the screen technology. To put it in simple terms: The screen will be absolutely beautiful.

This. If you want to get an idea of what SLCD2 looks like, try and find a One X. While it's screen resolution is 720, the color & viewing angles should be the same.
