Used your Image link to do a reverse image search. The logo is for NFC which stands for Near Field Communication. Here is a wiki about NFC. I would assume that there is a setting somewhere in your settings menu to turn it off or on!
ETA: Here are instructions for enabling and disabling NFC for your device.
