Default I Stand By My Original Thread That Was Locked..

The Inc has been pulled for quality issues not parts shortages. The same crap is going on in EVO land as well. Many defective units and now an OTA update that bricked 100s of phones. HTC has a real problem on there hands with these handsets.

Did your Evo become a "brick" also because of the OTA?

1/5. Repetitive trolling on the same subject is poor form and largely ineffective.

It is what it is. Of course Verizon isn't going to admit the handsets have issues it would send everyone bck for a refund.

Until you have a source for your information, no one will listen to your rants. Provide a source or quit trolling.

I agree, you need to step off your soap box, understand that no manufacturing process is 100% efficient, and that software glitches can happen. The Incredible is still a great phone, and is going to continue being supported. Even if VZW or HTC does drop it, so what? We're rooted now and can basically update ourselves

And yes, spreading false info without a credible source is just trolling, whether you agree or not.

So, how is it HTC's fault that Sprint's servers will not correctly read the updated state of the phone (thus bricking it in a second update attempt)? Shoo troll.. go bug the Evo board some more...

Sure is taking a while to get this thread locked...

The other thread he started about this EXACT same thing has already been locked.

It Appears The Incredible Has Been Pulled Off The Market...

when did someone's opinion become trolling or reason to lock a thread/ban a user? They didn't say it was FACT, just that is what they believe to be the root of the problem.

Reading that I see no cause for the first thread to be locked, but I do see a lot of violations in THIS thread just from that statement. I'm just saying if you don't like or agree with the OP'ers OPINION then ignore the thread. It will get buried by nature. People coming in and being rude will only bring it back to the very top.

I don't mean to question mods on WHY they do things, such as locking that thread. But it would be helpful to justify so people know what they did wrong (and others) so it can be avoided.

you are certifiable and eventually troll on every product you purchase and every forum you join. maybe you should just ban yourself from the internet because it seems you'll never be happy with anything in life.

The fact that he deliberately went out of his way to start this new thread and link back to the original locked thread is the whole point of why people are acting the way they (including me) are in this thread.

If he had made his statement with a different thread title and without the link.. I believe it would have been received much differently.

The guy brought it upon himself.

It really doesn't seem like THAT many people are having quality issues. I have had a few random reboots and nothing more. You have to accept that you purchased the first edition of a new piece of technology and it's not always going to be perfect. I love my Incredible and seemingly most people around here feel the same.

I'm going to have to agree with multiple others, the tin hat has to go.

Big thing that I see that makes me disagree with the original poster is that they are still airing commercials for the Inc.

For the love of god, ban this fool

They had screen shortages. Samsung is the ONLY company that makes AMOLED screens. And coincidentally Samsung is releasing AMOLED phones on every carrier in the next month or two. So you think that doesnt make shortages?

Or is the fact that HTC blatantly said the Inc will start getting SLCD instead of AMOLED because of shortages not make sense either?

Grow up.

For crying out loud.... if you suspect a post has malicious intent then report it. Thirty-three saw fit to comment but only one member actually bothered. By that time it was too late and it's gone the same way as the previous one.

Speaking of which, it's never a good idea to open a new thread that repeats the mistakes of one previously closed. That's twice this forum has been disrupted - I trust we won't see a third.
