Yes, from time to time but maybe it is just starting to show it's age. I got mine way back in April 2010. It's been a good phone.

A factory reset will make it like new. Or since you are well out of the warranty date (unless you have the extended) you can always root and make it seem even newer with a custom rom.

Already rooted. I am thinking it may have something to do with the custom kernel.
