Hahaha, just thought of an idea. My sister's boy friend works at best buy. I've never met him but I can only imagine he'd want to be in my good graces. Let's see if I cant get him to do me a favor...

Hope the 25th pans out because that is my wedding anniversary and I know what I want!!
Now a question to any bb employees out there. Can I buy a phone and resign my existing contract for only 1 year, or does bb only offer full price or new 2 year agreement prices?
I have a really good friend who works with bb mobile. We were at a party and I was complaining about my prehistoric Tmo blackberry pearl without a track ball & battery cover. I told him I couldn't wait to switch to Verizon and get the Incredible as soon as it came out but I was getting too anxious. He drunkinly murmered "bah, yew'll half hit by teh ent of da monf"....... I didn't give it any value until today.... Today lurking has given credibility to my buddy, you better believe I'm getting him drunk more often.

here is the second page in the inventory showing more information about the phone. if you read the bottom it shows a date of 04/25 as an in stock date which is what i originally posted. Once again this leads me to believe that its a smart phone because A. its not a gateway netbook because it would have gateway in the description and details B the droid msrpd for 500 if you bought the phone flat out and C. is not a samsung phone or the "vaygus" phone because there are other phones in the system that have the bbyld description with other numbers and the msrp is from 200 to 350. Take this info for whatever it is. it may more may not be the incredible the reason i posted the two images is because like many of you i just want to hear a launch date. Ill let you guys decide if this is pertinent information or not. This is going to be the last piece of information i will disclose,
FYI this is not an "edited" screen shot because i know someone called out that i would later show an "edited" image after the fact that i posted the original one.
This could well be the most under-rated posts of the thread. One of the few things confirmable on the entire thread and yet you still got grief over your first inventory post. Guess you should have just made a "little birdy told me" story for everyone to fawn over Instead of posting pics.
Also considering the Droid was BBY9LD (blackberries appear to be BBM's, nothing else has been slated recently) I don't see how this would be anything besides the Incredible.
Just a few things I want to clear up in regards to Agent/Retail Locations vs Corp Stores
Pricing- Pricing can't be dictated to agent locations, and can be set by the agent owner. Agents don't have any guidelines to follow other than remain profitable. All corp store have to follow the corp pricing matrix. I give the contract pricing to my annual upgrade customers, and I read earlier that BB doesn't- that is their policy, not all agent locations.
Upgrades- Agent locations can do all of the same types of upgrades that corp stores can do, however some types of promotions have to be dealt with in a different manner. NE2, Annual upgrade, conversion promotions- all can be done at any location. It's really dependent on how helpful the location wants to be.
Release dates- The Devour was available to the indirect side first, for whatever reason, it was not just BB. We usually hear about these types of releases in advance so we can gear up for it, and no word has been released on the Inc.
My locations do anything and everything to help our customers. I have pricing set extremely aggressive and have people that travel hours to get phones from us, because of knowledge, service and pricing. I just wanted to post and say 1- shop around, you just may find a better price and agents can play with pricing 2- Don't be treated in a way that makes you unhappy, find a locations that you enjoy going to. 3-If this phone doesn't come out soon I'm going to freak out because I want it so damn bad.
That is all.

Not even a page since I went to sleep? Tch, well, at least the quality of this one s excellent lol. Thanks again to MM and to apang as well for further confirmation. I'm feeling really good about us getting this thing.
Question: I've got a friend that is leaving Best Buy in like a week. He's interested in this phone as well. What can he do to find out stuff/see what's already been found? Feel free to take this to PM if you feel it's necessary.

Thanks, MM! Good stuff. I hope the end is near...or the beginning depending on how you look at it.
Question for any Best Buy employees or folks who have purchased phones through them. I'm eligible for upgrade so no worries there. I have gathered from past information that Best Buy typically handles the rebate process and gives you the instant discount so you get the bottom line pricing after rebate out the door. Do they honor NE2 credits? Between a VZW store and the website, I'd normally go with the latter because they offer instant rebates vs. the store making you mail it in. However, I'd be inclined to go with Best Buy if they get the phone at the same time because I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket. Would like to lower my bottom line price, if possible.
Edit: Meh, after months and months of lurking, posting, and stalking a high end HTC Android phone on Verizon, here I am finally making tentative purchase plans. I hope I didn't just jinx myself. (and all of us!)
From what I understand you do not get a VZW warranty when you buy at BB, Amazon, Wirefly, etc. It breaks, you take it where you got it.
Hope the 25th pans out because that is my wedding anniversary and I know what I want!!

My wedding anniversary is the 26th.....so as long as it comes out around then maybe my wife will be lenient with me when i devote all my time to the phone.....ah, who am I kidding....
Thanks MM for posting and thanks to the source for sharing through MM! It was a nice change to wake up, jump on here and find positive news and a positive mood. Keep it up!!
I heard from an "inside" source it will be released after the Full Pink Moon of April but before Halloween candy is out in stores. "Insert horrible saying with Incredible in it here".
Officially want to thank Montana on the news he provided.

So if it is 28th when do the commercials start. I still think it will be Verizon's annual golf event or NFL Draft. What say you..
I actually hope they don't start advertising heavily until after release. Why? Because I want to make sure that everyone on this forum gets their Incredible and they don't get sold out because Richie Rich saw it on TV and bought the last one! I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see combination Droid/Inc commercials. "Check out all the great android options here at Verizon" type commercials.

totally agree. I almost hope there are no ads to allow time for reviews before I buy.
I'm not calling "false" on MM's post, but like many of the other release dates communicated by people's "sources" which like "the box", turn out to be a let down, I'm just not going to get my hopes up about it.
What I am going to do is what I should have done back last fall, pick up a Droid so I can get off WinMo and on Android. I am seriously hoping that MM's information is solid this time and if the phone comes out on the 25th or even the 29th, I can wait a few days to weed through the glutton of messages that this board will obviously get and determine if I want to take my Droid back to exchange it for the phone I REALLY want. Then I won't mind so much sifting through a new Incredible thread.
At least I will be on Android...

MM,
YOU ROCK!!! Thanks for all the work and posts, especially after all the douches tried to drive you away. Lets hope this thing lands 6d after my B-day. Maybe I can talk my wife into a pre-order for my birthday since our NE2's are up. Thanks again MM.
Edit: MM should no longer have any thoughts of probation for the information provided.

Reviews? We don't need no stinkin' reviews.
Where do the blogs come for their Inc info? Right here, of course.
We're the Incredible hard core. We'll buy it even if it has NO cow bell.

Thanks for the info MM and super thanks to the anonymous tipster. I know you're lurking out there, and you've absolutely earned the right to sit anonymously in your big leather chair, petting your cat with a smile on your face. Looking forward to any future news from the dynamic duo.
... And if I have a NE2 on a family plan, is BestBuy going to be able to give me the phone at that discounted price? If not, I guess 4 days wont kill me, I've been waiting months.
I almost bought the Droid when it came out. I had pre-ordered and changed my mind when it came out and I got to see it. Anyway, the guy at Best Buy told me he would be able to give me my credit. I gave him my mobile number and he looked it up and confirmed that he could do it. That was going to be my first phone purchase at BB, so I don't know if that' s the rule or if it's up to a manager to decide.

I am glad to hear there are reputable private agents in VZW! In these parts, we have struggled so much with our private mom-and-pop agents feeding customers false information and then asking them to come to our corporate stores to have those expectations met. What's more, many of our agents have a history with customers that if it doesnt involve something that is commissionable for them, they'll say "we cant do that" and then send them to the corporate store to resolve the issue.
Thanks for being a different kind of agent. Good job!

From my understanding they do not deal with the NE2 credit, I guess you could talk to mobile manager if he wants to make that exception. But, yes, everything they do in the store is instant rebates, they don't do any mail in rebate garbage.

Maybe I'll wait behind his car when he's at work with a sock full of ether... When he wakes up in a basement tied to a chair, I'm sure he'll have something to say.

Actually in most cases if there is advertising before due date places like Engadget will get one in advance so they can review it. If the Incredible gets a glowing review from those guys it will help the phone to sell even better.

Ridiculous! I can't stand agent locations acting like that. That's what drives sales to the corp stores.
I actually am the central point of contact for our region for all things Droid and BB. I push product knowledge, a one stop shopping experience and service.
I hate lazy folks!
Thanks for the compliment!
