Sorry if I've missed this, but does anyone know if the Incredible will be kitted as a Verizon Global Phone?
Nope, no global.

Thanks!
I would think it would be different because of different manufacturers.

To the average rep looking in our systems, this phone doesn't even exist lol you just have to know where to poke around. I am not able to confirm at this time when it is launching. I have received no info, sadly.

Interesting... yeah, it doesn't show it as an included accessory in the box in our system.

That's been a mobile standard for a while.

None yet, but I think 199 on a 2 year is what you will be looking at.

Been following this phone since the Passion/Dragon rumors and this thread since around the 100s. This PDF made me register! BOOM indeed!
My NE2 was up in March and I've been waiting very impatiently for this freaking phone! C'mon release!!!!
this maybe a dumb question but do all droids have backup assistant or will this be the first?? backup assistant is huge for me! haha
and thanks anonimac!! did putting all those watermarks on ever get old? haha
It's handled through Google Voice/GMAIL, it imports ALL of your contacts and saves them there. No more need to be on the Verizon Wireless Back-up Assistant Tit.
Phandroid FTW...Gizmodo, Boy Genius Report, Engadget, etc... eat your heart out.
Anyone feeling thankful to this forum, thread, owner, admin's, mod's, tipsters, staff, regulars???
I am calling BS on this pdf. its a fake.... okay just joking awesome thank you Anonimac and your source.... p.s. Do you offer a trainning class on how to become as awesome as you are? If so how do we sign up lol
I'm more interested in how long it takes Engadget, Gizmodo, etc... to post this and HOW they do it seeing as how it's a Phandroid Exclusive! (check front page)

I think it might be awhile today. They are all gone have their heads up Apples @ss today because of the 4.0 event.

Engadget will probably just post more stuff about the iPad....
I've been avoiding registering for yet another forum and have done without downloading attachments to this thread... until now. Thanks for all of the hard work! I'm looking forward to getting rid of my iPhone at the end of the month.
I'm right there with you. I've got 4,600 posts on a motorcycle forum, I REALLY don't need anymore time consumers! Luckily the registration process took me less than 60 seconds.
what are people thinking this phone will be without signing a new contract. I am already stuck in a 2yr contract but want this phone,, $400+, $500+
Is anyone in the same situation as me..
I have the ability to use NE2 but I don't because none of the Verizon plans compare to my Alltel plan, I just keep paying full price for my new devices, and I'm fine with that. I'll cost about $559-$599 more than likely without contract.
Damn, the user guide made me register. I didn't even know I wanted this phone so bad and with so much passion as I do until I started reading this forum.
Question: Will I be able to get this phone if I can't make it to the store right away on the morning of release? Or are these releases usually pretty well-stocked for a couple days?
That is probably a function of how well publicized the phone is on TV and other non-web media before the first sales day.

"Charge the battery
The battery in your phone hasn’t been charged yet. While your phone is charging, it’s important that you do not remove the battery pack. Doing so can damage your phone. Also, please don’t try to take your phone apart. (If you do, it may invalidate your warranty.)"

I'm glad you mentioned this...and before this gets completely out of hand...let me assure EVERYONE that this phone 100% absolutely has the 8 GB in internal memory. I have other, more authoritative, documentation that states this so please lets not run away with this one detail for pages...it's there!
It looks like HTC sort of phones it in on the manuals, i think that the majority is an android with sense for dummies manual with the basic layout of the specific phone at the beginning, and the specs at the end. the individual sections like using the camera interface are not phone specific at all, it has no mention of the specific resolution options at all. if the memory is mountable like an sd card they may not have felt they needed to update the manual to have people understand how to use it.

I thought the Sense UI would have some drastic changes from Android 1.5 on the Droid Eris I returned, but not that drastic. But 2.1 and better hardware specs! I'm not complaining
