Yes it will. So this will let me import my contacts straight to GV? Cool!
Yep, all you have to do is save your contact list from your my verizon account to your computer, then import said contact list to your gmail contact list.

1. HD2 is VERY similar in overall dimensions to incredible. HD2 has better screen:size ratio. not a valid argument.
2. dual cameras is cool. everybody would like to have that. skype videoconferencing?
3. you WOULD connect your phone to your tv. of course you don't now, because you can't. what if you were carrying a collection of shows/movies in your pocket and could watch them anywhere any time? at a friends who hasn't seen a certain movie yet? one plug and you're good to go.
4. i dunno?
5. you win
6. sprint doesn't have 4g in jerz/nyc so i don't care bout it till they do. chalk up 2 for you
edit: how AWESOME would this thing be if the screenverall size ratio was the same as the hd2? this thing would be a tiny powerhouse! oh well
I cant think of one person that I would want to video chat/skype with,
for the most part I cringe when the phone rings, never mind having people seeing me roll my eyes at what is being said.
It might be fun to use for someones kids seeing the grand parents that live 4 hours away but other than that,...

Droid 2 and Motorola Shadow might be the same phone or whatever but they'll most likely have a slide-keyboard right?
I'm trying to avoid that so i'm sticking with my HTC Incredible!!
just making sure...
No they are two different phones, The Shadow is supposedly coming out in the Summer June/July and will have a 4.1"-4.3" screen with no keyboard, the Droid 2 is a fall release rumored to come out around Halloween

so would u recommend waiting for the motorola shadow or go with the HTC Incredible?...i don't want to stir up anything else for anyone hahahah i'm sure the specs couldn't be anything HUGE right?
I have to ask, has anyone, in anyway, seen this shadow with no keyboard.
The only shadow stuff I've seen has a keyboard/slider.
If you have where can I see this ever elusive phone.
Not saying its not there, just where is it.
Boy, i sure am glad that this is the place where those in the know want to share what they know! Another step towards something "incredible"...and it can't start with out some training.
Show your appreciation to those silent friends of ours!
Yea but that's not for the HTC Incredible. That's for the HTC Fart. I got a spy pic of it. Hang on let me post it. It runs a Casio operating system. 6 element LCD screen, Touch screen and water resistant.
I hear Timex is going to sue HTC.

Have you guys noticed all the hateful comments on the BGR spec page? Signs of jealousy, which means signs of a successful phone.

Quoted Comment I guess this is a good phone. For People that dont want:
*the largest screen available
I prefer something that can actually fit in my pocket
*dont want dual cameras (Or the opportunity to video call)
I'm sure the quality will be fine with the current technology we have now. It would be more of an audio call with giant pixels of your face
*HDMI output
Because I totally connect my phone to my TV
*720 recording
Don't we have the capability?
*Mobile Hotspot
Wireless Tether via Root..and did I mention it's free?
*4G Speeds that wont be available on Verizon till this time next year at earliest
VZW will have 1/3 of the country covered by the end of this year. How about you Sprint? (source)
For those that dont give a shit bout such things(when they probably will years from now) this is the phone for you. For those who want the Greatest…We’ll be in line for the EVO
Most people that comment on BGR all hate on most devices, etc. It's actually pretty comical.

This is what I don't understand about this thread, it can go off topic to talk about everyone's ages,Monty python,Google Voice and whatever garbage but as soon as someone mentions another phone it's a no no, might as well say NO to all off topic posts and ban the people who continue to post off topic.
Up until what an hour ago? there has been no news today and it's basically been off topic day.

There is no perfect answer...but we are in the HTC Incredible section, on the Incredible thread... While hockey, disney, macaroni grill, etc... may all come up, as much as it is off-topic, it's mostly about life outside of this phone. I'm not mandating anything, but asking that if we talk phones, that it's at least somehow related to the Incredible.

phones are always going to get better within a 3-6 month period, that's why droid has done so good because besides some lame blackberry curves, nothing has really challenged that.
The Incredible will sell a BUNCH because it's something new and we haven't seen something that big since the droid about 5 months ago.
If the main differences are HDMI and a .5 inch bigger screen....

agreed, plus the shadow has its own thread anyways
first time poster, long time lurker, I just signed up cause I have learned that training will begin at the end of next week. With the release date of April 29. Sorry if this has been posted already and I somehow missed it.

Hi folks. Long time lurker. Really enjoy the forum and all the scoop. I haven't seen this posted - apologies if it has been.
JackRabbitSlim posted the picture of the Costco inventory system with the strange reference to "WIRELESS ADV - TMOBILE" just to the left of that it reads "F4 WIRELESS ADVOCATES".
So I googled wireless advocates. Seems they are the sole provider for all of Costco's phones.

Pretty valid question. He asked in reply to a question about multiple phones including the incredible. I mean he was one post removed from on topic (being related to the incredible).
Not saying I don't appreciate the info here, and we all put up with all the off topic nonsense, but at least that was pretty on topic compared to the other stuff.
That said, the only info I have (which is none really), but I was getting my BB fixed and the guy who fixed it said he was under the impression that it was confirmed it his book. So I don't know what he was referring to, but he said come back in like 10 days or so. More speculation, more confirmation that it will be here soon.

I have a question for you folks in the know on how VZW works. My DH and I are on a family plan. My line is the primary line and is eligible for my NE2. His was activated last June w/o contract because it was a phone we had purchased outright off of ebay. Anyway, he's been eligible for an "upgrade at a discounted price" according to VZW pretty much since we activated the phone. I had always assumed it was a "NE2" because that's how it was worded. And when I used that Best Buy upgrade checker that was posted on here yesterday or the day before, it showed that both lines were eligible for an upgrade and discount. So my question is, what discount amount would normally be available on a second line? I've heard several folks say that you don't get two NE2's so what does the second line get?
I have had $200 burning a hole in my pocket for 6 months now. They could sell this thing right now to me for $400 on contract and I'd probably bite....NOT that I'm suggesting they price it that high.
I stood in line for my Storm back in November of 08, and i'll be standing in line for my Incredible in April 10!!
If we all started waiting in line sooner- like camping in front of stores this weekend- we might get enough mainstream media coverage to force VZW's hand in announcing something....
I'm not saying me personally- more like the proverbial we- as in some of you...
