Default Retiring the Dinc...but can I...
Can I still use it as a wireless device and browse the web, install stuff from Google play? I want to use it as a starter device for my son and it has a bunch of his games on it already.

Obviously I won't have 3G network or the ability to use it as a phone, but I was hoping I could just still use it as a basic device after my number has been transferred.

Sure can just turn on airplane mode, then turn on wifi
