Default What is the easiest way to get phone contacts off my Treo?

My DI is arriving tomorrow. I use g-mail so it should be easy to get my g-mail contacts. My contacts on my Treo are not the same as my g-mail contacts. I do not want to waste a trip to the VZW store to have them do it for me. I have my Treo contacts synced with my PC. Is it easy to transfer them to the DI and if so, how?

Thanks!

The palm desktop software that came with my phone (version 4.2). I use it to occasionally back up my phone in case something happens to it.

1. Open your addresses in the Palm Desktop. 2. Pull down File to Export, name your export file and select "vCard" for the format option. Click the Export button. 3. Open Google gmail and click the "Contacts" link 4. Click the "Import" link (upper right) and browse to the vCard file that you exported from your Palm Desktop. 5. Click the "Import" button. Done!

See if the trial of CompanionLink will work.

If not, try this:
How-To Sync contacts from Palm to Google for iphone or Android etc

From the contacts in Palm desktop (I have version 6.2.2) I did a Select All (control A), then selected Edit, Forward as Vcard and saved the vcf file somewhere. Then I went to gmail contacts and selected Import, then clicked chose file and selected the location of the vcf file. After a few minutes it was done and I could see all the Palm contacts in Google.

I like your idea of syncing my Palm Contacts to Google first. That way I can clean them up (get rid of duplicate contacts, etc.) before syncing them to my DI.

Yea, I just don't know if any features of CompanionLink don't work with the trial version. It's worth a shot
