You have to call and ask them to credit your account, probably after you activate it. It would be a good idea to call before you order and see if they can place a note on your account to honor the credit.

Of course, all of this is dependent on them knowing about the code. They will either say it's for new customers only or have no idea about it whatsoever. If you're lucky, you'll get the 1% that will either take you for your word or be able to type in the URL.

With PA state tax I paid $6.00 tax. I feel so bad for you

I called and the guy said that I would have to MAIL the phone back, and then reorder the phone. So I said, "let me get this straight verizon would pay double shipping instead of letting you credit 30 dollars to my account?" He said "Yes ma'am."

Interesting... LOL

*611 is telesales and won't know promo codes.

Try internet sales. It might take a few calls to get a good rep.

If someone gets it to work can you please get the CSR's email if possible so maybe we can deal directly with him/her?

Didn't work for me. He said it's for new line of customers and even then, the person would have need to order on the 26th of May to get credit. Oh well, I tried.

Keep trying imo. Even if it takes you an hour, which I doubt, $30/hr isn't bad.

I don't know about calling 611, but did use it at checkout at vzw.com and it worked flawlessly.

I went to Best Buy and they honored the coupon code with adding a 2nd Incredible to my line. YMMV though, the 1st Best Buy said no.

I'm calling Verizon tomorrow to see if they can add the $30 credit to my 1st Incredible purchase.

Thanks for posting!

Just a heads up, I called back and provided the CSR with the link from FierceDeityLink1. He put me on hold for a few to talk to his supervisor, came back, and told me I will be getting a 30 dollar credit

Just for reference, this code is valid from 4/26 to 5/3. So call back tomorrow as it might be your last chance.

I called last Sunday or Monday and complained that people were getting this and how I unhappy I was. After about 40 minutes of my complaining she caved and gave it to me just as the OP got it.
