Default Video messaging

Shouldn't I be able to send a video I take with the "camcorder" to another Verizon phone via SMS messaging? I get them from people all the time.

But when I take a video, even a very short one, and choose to send it in a "message" I get an error that says "Message size limit reached. Sorry, you cannot attach this to your message".

I get this no matter how short the video is. Is this a resolution problem? Can I lower the resolution thus making the video smaller? Or am I doing something else wrong?

EDIT: Nevermind, I answered my own question. It was a resolution problem!
