Default Best app for quick speech to text notes

I'm going to a meeting shortly and need an app that would allow me to quickly speech to text notes for multiple discussions. It would be something akin to opening a word doc for each discussion and typing it down. Is there anything like that for the Incredible/Android? Does Documents to Go support speech to text on Incredible?

text to speech should work in any program. i'm speaking right now. docs to go also works with voice to text. you could also try 3 banana notes or any other note app .

How do you start the default text to speech while in a program?

When your keyboard comes up, there should be a little microphone next to the space bar. Press that.

Thanks. Looks like I can't use that with Swype active. Have to change to default keyboard and use it from there.

I use AK Notepad. It works well with speech to text and is free at appbrain. I don't take notes at meetings but I love to jot down grocery lists and to do lists.

Download and use another keyboard.

For the record, Swype now has a mic button on its keyboard.

There's only few notepad apps I found that specifically cater to speech-to-text functionality. There's Voice Notepad, which costs about a dollar, and I was using it for a while until I found ListNote. VoiceNote has kind of a cute design and its free, but it doesn't have a search function or encryption option. ListNote is also free and its my go-to notepad because the speech button is right on the front page of the app, and its easy to just press one button while I'm driving to add a note.
