I had a Innocase II and messed it up and then I ordered an Active and liked it better. But I love Seidio products. I may get the Purple body glove vibe case with a stand to hold me over till Seidio comes out with theres.

It has a kickstand? How much was it? What should I ask for in Best Buy? I haven't seen that one yet. If they have them in stock I want it right now, lol.
Just go to the cell phone case section and look for the EVO 3D area within that section. S/b close to the EVO 4G cases. It was 34.99. They also have one for 29.99 without the kickstand.
And to add, this case comes out past the camera lens so you can sit the phone down on desks or whatever without being afraid of scratching the camera.

I have my heart set on the Ballistic HC case. I emailed them asking for an eta on the case and received a reply that they are expecting it to be available for purchase through the web site within the next three weeks. Thats longer than I want to wait but I think I will all the same. I might need a tube sock to hold me over I guess

How did you get this? The Otterbox site shows nothing for the 3D and a search produces no results.
Actually, it's there now! I guess they were waiting for the official release date to advertise it (not sure why, though).
I have another question for Doomstang though... I really wanted to get a boxwave screen protector, but that's not yet available. Can you comment on the quality/transparency/adhesiveness of the screen protector that comes with the commuter case? I can't decide whether to forgo from using a screen protector until the boxwave protector is available, or whether to use the commuter screen protector until I'm able to get my hands on a boxwave protector (in which case I would try to remove the otterbox protector and replace it with the boxwave).
BTW Doomstang, thanks so much for the great images, they're very helpful!
There are actually quite a few bundles that come with a leather case, phone case, wall charger, car charger, screen protectors and more. Here are the ones that I am looking at. I hope its ok to post ebay links.

The stand is appreciated, but no where near the sturdiness of the EVO 4G stand.
GREAT CASE! , but it's yet another reason the charging jack is in a STUPID location....
Sprint gave me an Otterbox case with holster! I said why not spend the $50 gift card used for my pre-order on a case. I don't care for the Otterbox case. You guys can bet that damn case will come off when I need to hit the town. The Otterbox case will be used for work, but the Seidio case will be for play time baby!
ballistic comes out late July per a rep at ballistic . make sure and sign up on their crackbook page. the ballistic case is nice. i plan to get all the colors as i did with the evo... i currently have the evo 3d in a Sony pouch for now..

picked up the commuter otterbox at my Sprint store today. looks and works great. camera glass is recessed now, and the charge port flap is much better than the Evo 4G's case.

I went and got the Platinum holster from Best Buy($34.99) that's like the Seidio Surface(fka Innocase 2), but I also got the $6.95 TPU case I bought from ebay today in the mail. I like the TPU so much and it lines up perfectly with the holster, so I think I'm going to use it in conjunction with the ebay case instead. Now I just need a ghost armor for my 3D. Had a Zagg before and I'm not a fan. Had the ghost armor on my 4G for a year with no orange peel and you could hardly tell it had something on the screen.

How do you like it? How much protection do you think it'll really provide (against just scratches and such, or impact at all?) I've been thinking about getting something small and light for when I'm out and about, working out, that kind of thing, and this looks nice, but not sure if it's going to provide much additional protection. Having a hands on, maybe you're in a bit better position to speculate?
For the price you really cant beat it. The fit is perfect. I mean so perfect its really amazing this thing cost so little. It will definetly protect against scratches no doubt. It is also very thin and feels great in your hand. The only downside is the back is glossy so if you have wet hands i can see this slipping out really easily.
Now today I went to best buy and got the Platimum case and holster. Now I am really torn becuase I love both of them. And the TPU case fits perfectly in the Holster of the Platinum.
I am very torn right now.

I didn't find an oakley bag, but we do have a store in the local mall called the sunglass hut. They had a microfiber bag, in multiple colors. I picked up a black bag.
It is perfect for this phone. It is big enough to hold the phone inside a case. It is also about an inch or so taller than the phone in the case. Perfect to connect to my chain and fix to a belt loop.
These look nice, how much bulk does it add to your phone?
(In regards to the Ballistic SG case)One of my co-workers has this case for his iPhone, and it is actually pretty thin. Comparable to the otterbox commuter, only imo this ballistic makes nicer products. The only thing I am skeptical about with this case is that the HUGE camera lens is exposed.
I thought this was a cool case, Case-Mate Pop case, even comes with a kickstand. It comes in black and white. Probably the one I'd get if I decided to go with this phone.
Had my heart set on the ballistic hc, but I couldn't carry my baby arround naked for 3+weeks. I bought a otterbox defender from radioshack and I used foursquare to get 20% off(paid 39.99).
It is very great so far and I'm loving the holster/kickstand feature that they put in.

My guess is it was taken down briefly, nothing showed anywhere but the next day it popped up on the home page. I ordered one Friday late morning, but found one at Sprint so I cancelled the order because they had a 3-5 day order processing time!
I'm going to use it till the Seidio Convert comes out, I like the Seidio clip much better.

while I agree its fine for docks, see if you still feel that way when you are running out of battery, on an important call, and need to plug in the charger while talking. Also, imagine being such in an airport trying to watch a movie while charging it. There is no strain relief on this style jack. I'm worried that its going to break pretty easily. Now if someone can make a case with a bottom jack, and an internal cable like the htc car kit, that would be slick!

The Otterbox defender has a Kickstand? I read something about 20% off and Forusquare which I use all the time how does that work you check in and get 20% off? What other accessories did they have?

I bought my otterbox when I purchased my phone yesterday at bestbuy for $49.99 . And while it does feel like a tank, I know it's protected and it works awesome!
The other cool thing about the otterbox is that it protects your glass on the cameras on the back from getting nicked and scratched. It also makes the back flush when setting down you EVO 3D!

No, it does not have a kickstand.
The Otterbox Screen protector will be getting cut off my defender later this evening! The screen was still viewable with polarized sunglasses till I put the defender on, now it is a rainbow mess. I have a Skinomi on the way, I will just have to live without screen protection till it arrives.

Yes the holster clip doubles as a kickstand. For the discount I checked in and showed him the screen and he applied the discount. I don't know all the accessories hey had, but I know they have invisible shields, Otterbox defender, and otterbox impact. (Idk about commuter since I didn;t see any)

Yes it does its on the holster belt clip it snaps into the fully open position and stays open proping the phone up landscape or portrait.

For my evo 4G I had the commuter otter box (inside layer of silicon and hard outer cover), and I planned on getting an otter box again for the 3d but I found a cheap alternative at my local Best Buy, it looks and feels just like an otter box for half the price. I highly recommend it.
This is the best case I have ever used so far. Amzer® Luxe Argyle High Gloss TPU Soft Gel Skin Case - For HTC EVO 3D
They come in several colors, fit the phone snuggly, and really protect it well. I have used them on my sons Hero, my original and my wifes original day 1 EVO's, and now on my EVO 3D. I have bought and tried silicone skins, plastic shell type cases, Otter boxes (Defender and Commuter) and I always go back to the Amzer case/skin.
It's kind of a cross between a hard shell and a silicone type of case. It is just grippy enough to hold and easily slides in your pocket but not too grippy (like silicone skins). It fits tight but is easliy removed. They will not stretch out and get loose like silicone skins do. The best part is they cost less than $10.
I picked up my EVO 3D at Radio Shack on Friday. They gave me $148.13 credit for trading in my old EVO. They let me use $100 towards the price of my EVO 3D and use the remaining balance towards accessories. Didn't see anything I needed that I didn't already have so I opted for the Otter Box Defender since I had to spend the credit. The Radio Shack saleman installed it before I left. It made the phone HUGE! I immediately removed it when I got in my truck to leave. It made the EVO 3D feel like a Nintendo 3DS in a Nerf protector, way too big for me. The massive belt clip just makes it worse. Over the top too big. It will protect the phone no doubt but so will will a shoebox filled with pillow stuffing. Did I say it was too big...?
I'm glad I ordered the Amzer case for the EVO 3D the week before. The Otter Box Defender is going to eBay asap.
P.S. Tried several screen protectors on my original EVO and didn't have good results, they either distorted the screen, peeled, or were somewhat tacky like the Zagg InvisableShield (not so invisable). Anyway, after spending many $$$ on different screen protectors I just took them off. I had my original day 1 EVO for almost 11 months without a screen protector on it and I never had a single scratch on it when I traded it in last Friday for my 3VO. I always carried it in my pocket with change, keys, etc. The glass on these phones is way tougher than people realize. I won't be wasting money on a screen protector for the 3VO, just the Amzer case.

100% False. I have the Otterbox defender case and the belt clip can also be used as a kickstand as well. It is a nice touch. I have been using Otterbox cases for years now. On my last Hero I used the Commuter, the one thing I didn't like was on the defender series was when the clear plastic covered the screen and the two touched it would looke terrible when the screen was off. Almost like there was moisture between the two. I made the guy at Sprint put the phone in the case before I agreed to buy it. I am happy to say they have corrected this issue but I don't know how, and I really don't care, it looks great and protection is second to none. Got a 25% discount if I bought two accessories, so Defender case and a car charger.
I just wish my wife could use a touchscreen phone. Anyone else have this issue? The idiot in retentions lied to be so much, first was how and when I would receive the Evo 3D, he said the same car charger that I had for the Hero would work for the Evo 3D, and he also said the Blackberry 9670 wasn't a touch sensitive phone. Now I have a phone my wife can't use.

I stand corrected, I was not aware of this feature. But the fact that you have to spin the clip around to where the locking tab faces down and the almost upright angle make it a little inconvenient. It is a good idea, they just need a little more tilt and the bottom portion of the holster should remain the bottom.

You can also have the locking tab facing the left or right(when in landscape) or Up/down(in portrait). I use mine with the locking tab that way(I think the angles better) and it is not inconvenient at all for me since I keep the belt clip at that angle normally.

Np!
Sorry it took so long to reply...I've been rather busy and was just able to get on my laptop for a bit (not even at home still ). I just had my dad put my screen protector on about an hour ago...he's much better at them than I am. One spec of dust got on the screen during the few seconds after it was cleaned and before the protector went on but I'd say it looks pretty good. I'm in a dimly lit location right now but so far I can't even tell it's on there (I had completely forgotten until I read this thread). I do know the screen protector that came with it had about 4 small pictures as 'instructions' but I think it turned out well.
I guess it's like almost any screen protector, if you manage to put it on right and avoid any dust or air bubbles it looks pretty darn invisible. Only time will tell as to how long it holds up for (I'm assuming it won't peel up due to the protection of the case).

I have no idea if the Evo3D would fit in there. It was designed for the HTC HD2 so the Evo3D might stick out the top a little. I could always order it and return it if I was unhappy with it... hrmm...
