I believe you will need a 3D display on that Windows 7 machine or some type of glasses (probably red/blue type) if its not a naitive 3D display.

I am not concerned with my display being true 3D. I just want to be able to view my 3D pictures on my computer. I need a .mpo photo viewer.

I can view both .MPO and .JPS pictures in Corel PaintShop Pro X3, in 2D though. They are just JPG files.

It would be better if you change setting and save 3D pictures in .JPS format.

When you save pictures in .MPO format and then view in 2D image editor it is a single picture, but it is blurry. You cannot re-use it as 2D picture.

When you save pictures in .JPS format and then view in 2D image editor it is double picture, side by side horizontally. This way you can cut out half of the picture and use it as 2D image.

Also if you use the gallery app you can save a 2D version of any of your 3D photos. I will make them a .jpg

I've been able to view .mpo files in just about any program that opens .jpg files including the Windows picture viewer. You just have to select it the first time and tell it to always open with it. Of course it only shows one of the images but you can still look at them.

Is this a setting on the phone? I can't find the option... How do you change that setting?

Switch camera to 3D mode. Tap menu button on the phone and find File format option, tap that that and choose jps

Question Save 3d pictures for viewing on HDTV after selling Evo 3D

I've got a 3D and a ton of 3D pictures. I'm going to sell my 3D before long and upgrade to the GS4 or another device.

Down the road I'll eventually get a 3D HDTV. I'm wondering whether I can download all my photos from my Evo to my PC, and later on will I be able to view them on a 3D monitor?

Basically I want to know, the file format for the 3D photos and videos, is that a format that is EXCLUSIVE to the Evo? Meaning as long as I have a 3D monitor, will I need special software on my PC to open these files and display them in 3D on my 3D monitor? Or once I get rid of my Evo are the 3D files basically useless at that point?

Thanks!
