Facebook app poor on 3D?

Is anyone else having trouble getting the official Facebook app to load quickly? I've had this problem on my Hero as well, though it seems work fine and load very quickly on my wife's Optimus S. I have max signal and it takes forever to load either screen. Is just HTC phones that have this problem?

My only problem with that app is that it's crappy. It loads fine for me but I usually end up just using the touch.web interface for it because the app is so clunky.
