Removing Other Numbers From Text Application

I'm using stock text messaging application and I am not looking to switch from it. I was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to make only the mobile numbers show up when I start typing a persons name in or, if I have three numbers for one person (mobile, work, home) how to ensure the mobile stays towards the top of the list.

I know it is a small detail but I frequently hit whichever number is at the top because I never had the issue on my other Droids.
