Wow, it's been a WHILE since I last logged on here.

Anyway.

I no longer use this awesome EVO 3D, and it's been laid up in my junk tech drawer for months and want to have a little fun with it.

Ive done countless Roots and hacks to my lovely Android devices, but never one like this.

Is it possible (with or without Root) to completely disable the Cellular network and/or prevent the SIM Card from working, to make the phone into an iPod-like device.

I want to load whatever I want on it, and use it for ramdom tech crap with only WiFi. Basically I want it like an iPod.

Is it possible? I have the latest Updates. Not sure if it's Icecream Sandwich or Jelly Bean. It's been a while since I have used an Android.

Hey matlock if you want an ANDROID player then simply put the phone in airplane mode I have 3 phones and 2 I just use as wifi devices airplane on I don't have to look at any activation crap and I enjoy my devices
