Hello.

I've recently bought an extended battery for my HTC EVO 3D.

Changed from the original 1700 to 3500.

Problem is, right when I plugged it into the phone, it didnt turn on.
The charge light would go on for about 2-4 seconds then turn back off.
I tried using the original battery and still get the same problem

Now the charge light doesnt turn on at all, and the PC wont even read that it's connected.
The original battery battery had about 75% battery left when I took it out.
So I left the extended battery plugged in all night to see if it would charge.

Woke up this morning and nothing...

Is my phone bricked now because of this new battery?
What can I do?

what is the brand of the battery? can you just put in the old battery for now and see if the phone will power up? leave the old battery in there for a few hours. make sure the back door is on properly so the power button will align up correctly with the button on the back case.

Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to hear about the problems you are having with your phone.

I've used all types of battery on my phone, and I've never had this problem before. Anyways, I would suggest that you remove the battery from the device and let it stay put for awhile (a couple hours).

....you then want to insert the original battery and connect it to a charger for a few minutes. If the device doesn't work - you might wanna take it to your Sprint repair center for repairs or a replacement.

Note: The battery you used might be bad (being that its not an original).
