Nope, they had white one with grey accent around the outside(Soft/hard shell), which I thought was pretty cool. Blue soft gel case, not working Then a carbon fiber hard shell, I thought might like cool with a red kickstand popped out the back. Pretty much every LTEVO assesory you could think of the Sprint rep put on the counter. Kid in a candy shop, understatement I could feel my dang heart pounding I wanted say "I'll take all!" LOL. Then people start gathering around. Mercifully, the Sprint rep asked for my PH# and the video ends there.

Probably good thing they didn't have a real LTEVO there, ROFL

There's a pink Otterbox? Hmmm I'd like to see that. I always do Seidio though and am getting a purple surface case already. I may swing by my Sprint store on the way to work just to see. I wish Seidio's Active case had the cutout for the phone's kickstand and didn't have it's own on there. But I still may try it too later on down the line cause the Active is my favorite.

Saw your unbox vid, thanks for posting it! I have a couple questions I'm hoping you can answer.

Does the Car Dock come with a USB cable?

If not, do we need the special HTC USB cable to activate car mode or can we just use a regular USB cable b/c the cardock USB port triggers the car app on it's own?

Been asking otterbox for an update on when their products will be in store for the evo and got this response...

@chris_bortner We'll send out an update once we have some more info! Keep an eye out. -- OtterBox (@OtterBox)

lol making me feel old and I only have 300 some posts. I liked the Defender for the Evo but it was a little big. I typically prefer the slimness of the phones and I have a feeling especially with this one since it's so slim.

I searched some cell phone accessory stores, and it seems otterbox, zagg & incase have prepared for the product of Evo 4g LTE. Found it from their websites.

I just stopped by Best Buy to see if I could check out the cases they advertised in the weekend flyer. They had none on the shelves and the sales lady told me that they won't be releasing any accessories until the phone comes out. Guess I'll just buy a case online. Also, stopped by 5 and Below as they usually have cases for popular phones, but no luck their either.

Found a coupon code for case-mate cases (HTC EVO 4G LTE Cases, Covers, Skins by Case-mate)... Good for 20% off, but expires 5/31.

Forgot to add the code. Code:MDAY2012

I used to have a ProClip mount for my Treo and it was AWESOME!! The width was adjustable so I was still able to use it when I upgraded to the Hero. Then... I changed to the Shift, and HTC had changed the location of the micro USB port on the phone so I couldn't use the same holder anymore unless I put my phone in upside down, and then it just got really awkward, I was always afraid it might fall out. I bought the new ProClip holder made for the Shift and was disappointed because it wasn't adjustable like my old one had been, and even though I had a pretty thin case on my Shift, it wouldn't fit. I ended up buying some inexpensive generic mount on eBay that slides into my CD player and it works OK except (there's always some drawback when you buy generic stuff ) I have to be careful how it sits on the foam padding otherwise it just turns my volume down. The padding on the sides is in kind of a square O shape so as long as I situate the volume controls in the opening I'm in good shape. I'll have to see how my current mount works with the LTEvo or else I'll be looking for a new car mount.

If you consider the ProClip mount, be advised that it might not fit while it's in a case - unless they happen to make the holder for this phone adjustable.

I stopped by one Sprint store and called the larger one in my area and they both said they don't have any accessories for the phone. The smaller one wasn't even aware that the phone had been released from the customs hold.

Yeah I totally agree but in my line of work the defender is the only way to go Imo.. The only thing I hate is the built in screen protectors so I take it out and put a zagg on then put the defender on

Otterbox is in some Sprint stores it's the commuter one I think it's called. I was in my Sprint store today they had a pink and white one I am gonna try cause it reminds me of the Seidio Active case with the 2 parts but I also bought the car dock cause I had one for my EVO 3D. I got 20% off for buying 2 accessories but this won't fit on the car dock but my purple Seidio surface case should cause it did on my 3D dock. I may return this case but I love pink so I may just have two cases. Now to check on screen protectors.

I checked a couple Best Buys in my area for the Otterbox Commuter, no luck. I ended up ordering a black commuter case via Amazon. The vendor at the time stated that they had it in stock.

I remember last year I was gonna get this one case from Sprint and we tried it with my phone and the dock and it didn't fit but I forgot which brand. Of course I don't have the phone yet but someone at my work said they doubt it will fit cause of the 2 parts but my Seidio Active didn't fit and this is similar. But I still like it and it's pink so I'll use it too maybe. Just have to see how it feels and looks once I get the phone.

Amazon is showing a delivery date of between May 31-June 17.
If I don't get it soon, I'm probably going to cancel and order something other than the Defender. That's just too long to wait without a case for me.

I don't understand why they haven't released them-- even if the phones aren't on the floor or whatever, it's not like it's going to cause them to sell less.

I've purchased stuff from a discount website called justdeals.com. They have an alternate site called justamazingdeals.com and look what they had for today's featured deal!

http://www.justamazingdeals.com/?did=14631&rf=546176

Just like other deal sites, it's likely today only and if you're too lazy to click the link it's the HTC iBeats by Dre earbuds! $38.99

I purchased a pair yesterday as well saw it off Woot. I figured at that price it is worth it to give beats a try I am sure they will be just as good or better than any other ear buds at that price.

The one I bought from Sprint yesterday says Commuter on it. It's pink and white but I think they had black. I know Mobile city had it cheaper but no date availability so I went ahead and got it from Sprint cause I was getting a car dock and i saved 20%.

Damn alot of retail stores around my area are either playing dumb or are not allowed to sell accessories until the phone is out.

I got most of my accessories. XO Skin, Ventev case, 64GB memory card. All I' need is my holster and I'll be ready for my phone tomorrow.

But one question: I want to put on the full skin but will that interfere with the TPU case and later, Otterbox Commuter?

If I were you I would call back and tell them most Sprint stores received shipments of accessories already and have them check the boxes. I called 3 stores all getting no's on a hunch called one back and had her physically check and they had everything. Also they are allowed to sell the merchandise ahead of time it is already in their system and ready to go.

I am sure by now they have to have it the store I got mine from said they got those boxes in on Monday so by now they should be everywhere.

Yeah, I'm going to check back again. I want a temp case and screen protector before I get my phone. Plus I want that Media Link.

Also, stopped by 5 and Below as they usually have cases for popular phones, but no luck their either.

Best buy has the accessories.. or atleast the one near me in south jersey did BUT they were not on the shelves.. after alittle bit of prying i was told they were locked in a drawer and the sales associate was nice enough to open it up for me.. they had 2 different kinds of cases and they also had zagg shields.. no otterbox's yet commuter or defender.

I didn't get a chance to check woot out last night. Nontheless, I think it's worth it to check them out too, especially at the price.

There is some talk about them possibly not being real, but I'm not buying it based on my past experiences with Justdeals.com.

Probably already been mentioned, but based on the amount of gripes about the fingerprint magnet on the back, I'm guessing we'll see a 3rd party (or even HTC) replacement before long.

I went to two Sprint stores (Snellville and Loganville GA). The Loganville store had no accessories or EVO's. The Snellville store had most of the accessories.

Sorry for late respond Nope on the USB cable. Assuming your current car charger is micro USB. Charge port on the back of the craddle is where you plug in your car charginng cable. The nice thing there is clip for the cable taking all.the weight instead of the charge port itself Very nice touch IMHO. Other than that pop your LTEVO in the car dock and LTEVO switches into car mode. Much improved over OG EVO for sure. Also you can go into the home screen (normal mode) and its in landscape as well, very nice

I have been using the car dock over the last couple of days and has been proven to be a quality product this far

Hope that helps.

So your home screen rotates when in the car dock. I haven't used mine yet cause the case I am using it won't fit. Waiting on my Seidio Surface case to come probably next week I am guessing unless Fed-Ex delivers tomorrow cause Monday is the holiday. I had Custom Car Home app I used on my 3D but people were saying Car Home Ultra is good. I guess I could go naked (no case) and use dock but my case is too much of a pain to keep taking on and off. But I love having a car dock got the Sprint one for my 3D last year. I also had a seidio home dock I kept by my bed hope they make one here soon.

this is why i plan to keep the device naked. the car dock is much nicer than previous docks and i do not care to keep moving the device in and out of a case. the big fat buttons on the dock rock..

So to go naked I need to put back in that piece I took out is that right? I may do that just to see what it looks like tomorrow. If I can get my case out LOL! I need a car docking app and I am familiar with custom car home but I may try car home ultra. I love this phone!

Did you remove the insert from the cradle? If your LTEVO has a case on it, you'll need to remove that insert. Once you do, should fit just fine.

Once insert your LTEVO in to the car dock it switches automatically in car mode. If you press the home key it brings up the home screens in landscape mode. Works very nicely.

ive not read the operators manual on the dock.
so there is an insert you can remove to accommodate cases? this would make sense but then which cases would work with it?
