I found a way to personalize the ringtones, I'm not sure if it's the only solution, but it works.

What you need to do is add the Favorites widget to your homescreen.
Add the people you want to have a customized ringtone into the widget.
Press each name from here and scroll down, there is an option to choose a ringtone.

I have that part set up but it stopped working after update :-(

Unfortunately, that fix doesn't work for everyone - for me, it's intermittent.

Was thinking of taking this up date for the 4g scan improvements but was wanting to know if anything is broke in this update. I know its an old one but im one behind it now.
