With the updated WinAmp(now with lock screen controls & Shoutcast radio integration), and the official Google Reader app, it's been a very good week for me when it comes to free and highly useful apps on my EVO.
Chase - Online Banking. See account balances, make deposits, etc...
iTag - Label and edit music artists, songs, album covers, etc...
Pandora - Stream music
Tasks - Little digital post it notes you can write on and check off items
Zillow - Real estate in your area.Houses for sale, apartments for rent, etc...

Now that AudioGalaxy does Last.fm scrobbling, it's a must have for me. I can stream all 170GB of my music to my Evo (not all at once ) and it still sounds good and shows large album art. Prettymuch everything I want. I wish it had the EQ of PowerAmp, but it still sounds as good as non-streaming music apps other than PowerAmp. Get it!
Back on topic, my latest must-have is Subsonic, which is like AudioGalaxy only way, way better. It pre-caches songs for fewer, if any skips, loads my library a lot faster and is much more stable. For example, I tried to make the same playlist of about 3,500 songs in both AudioGalaxy and Subsonic. AudioGalaxy choked and lost my entire list three times, while Subsonic hasn't had a problem with it.

Is Subsonic or AudioGalaxy using the full quality of the music file? I know AG has the option for high quality, and it sounds pretty good, but I'm curious.
Anyone know if there is an app that allows you to move almost any other app to the SD card?
I already use app2sd but I could swear I read somewhere about an app that can move more stuff than the apps2sd app can do. I cant remember where I read about it.

If you find one that can, you probably don't want to use it. Most of the apps that cannot be moved are going to be apps that lose some form of functionality if they were moved.
Just a note, it's been my experience that if you go into the market right after you do a reset all of your apps are still listed for a short time. I always just fire up the wifi and hit the market right away and get it all back.
My experience has been that only the apps i purchased show up.
I like and use a lot of the ones already mentioned but I wanted to add a really good one...Ad Free.
Sorry, I was looking for the link to "Ad Free". When I searched on those terms, it came back with a large number of entries, but nothing I could identify for certain as the application the previous poster was refering to....

Ad Free:
Note: It is a "root only" app. Are you rooted?

Actually, no - at least not yet. I'll add it to my "rooted" application list in AppBrain. I haven't done much research yet for rooting my Evo, but I'm thinking I'd like to do that - if for no other reason than to provide wifi access for my laptop when away from home.

Hmmm.. Not sure. I run Myn's too, so that ROM shouldn't be the problem. Maybe uninstall the app, then reinstall it? Someone far more knowledgeable than me might have to investigate your issue.
I was an avid user of Estrongs, but I found that Astro is the only file manager that opens and properly displays html files. +1 for Astro.
I don't know how come no one came across "AndExplorer"? And please, NO smartAss remarks like: " It's not worth mentioning...", etc.!
I tried the famous Astro and as far as the free ver. goes,... Well... Let's just say I wasn't exactly convinced...
Yet AndExplorer does everything as the other one(s) and no adds, no problems!
So the next big name is "AndExplorer"! Try it and see for yourself...
(This is not a commercial, BTW) it's an ADVICE!

I use stock messenger app for SMS and K9 for E-mail I tried a 3rd party SMS app a while ago and wasn't impressed enough to keep with it. I like K9 becuase it has a ton of options in regards to setting up different kinds of e-mail accounts.
Hmm... the apps that I'm liking a lot recently would be:
1. Facebook - I think they're slowly getting this right
2. Color Note - This app is so useful as I use it more and more. I love the password feat
3. Titanium Backup - I LOVE this app now, backing up data on my apps is a life saver especially when I play around with ROMs and have to restore sometimes.
4. Electrum Drum Machine/Sampler - Making beats is pretty fun, love spending some time doing this.
5. YouTube - I think this will forever be on my list. And with the new updates, I have less of a need to go to the full/touch site.
Astro File Explorer - Probably the most popular zip/explorer app out there
Vignette - Excellent camera app chock full of effects
Picsay Pro - For photoshopping on the go (better than the actual mobile Photoshop app)
vPlayer - Plays every video I've tried and plays it well. Tried a ton of video players but this is by far the most functional.
Handcent - SMS app that does everything I need it to. Haven't tried GO SMS or Chomp, but haven't had the need to.
Email Notifier - Popup feature for Gmail and K9.
JuiceDefender - Must-have battery saver
Adfree - Must-have app that elminates most ads found in apps and the web. Only ads it couldn't block were the ones on...
Wordfeud - Extremely addictive game in the vein of Scrabble or Words with Friends. Play as time permits. Can have a bunch of sessions open when other players are unavailable.
Tune In - App that lets you stream radio stations all over the world.
