Default USB Tethering on PS3?

Is this possible? The only way I could see it working is if the "Install other OS" option was still on the ps3 and then just installing pdanet onto it...but is there anyway to do that without installing a different operating system? If not somebody out there needs to find out a way to....i can only dream i guess...

You could use the wifi hotspot and connect the ps3 that way. However, if you are on 3g you will have extreme lag. and 4g doesnt have the best ping time either.

lol, someone trying to play COD via wireless tether.

That would be epic.

I lag with broadband. Would hate to see tethering...
