Default It's getting Stale

Just wanted to mention that this forum is getting a little stale. There haven't been any new hot topics lately, seems all I ever see is battery talk, comparisons to the Epic, tab talk, "must have" apps and some randoms. The general section here for the Evo has had the same first page threads for oh, about 2 weeks now.

What's new that we can talk about, let's get things moving again...

I know. I've been spending a lot of time on XDA lately. I always open AF and XDA every morning, but AF has been boring lately so I just spend time over on XDA. Oh well.

the phone has been out for a while now. forums are mostly where people come to get answers to questions. the evo has reached its plateau and now this forum will be used for the new comers to the handset with questions.

the sub forums are buzzing and rooting is taking center stage with these gadgets...

I say we stir up noobs in the root section. Start a rumor like, "you know how deleting the system32 folder in windows makes your computer impossible to hack? Well, deleting the system folder on your fone makes it impossible for sprint to detect rooted fones" (I'm totally j/k mods)

so I am about to try this. Are you sure it will make it impossible to detect? That would be awesome.

That is because, if you dare create a thread in the general section that is about anything else, the mods will ship it off to some other subforum, regardless of how vague the connection is. The general section is at its most comical when a mod logs on during his/her lunch break and you see about 8 threads moved in a couple of minutes.

True that. But at least peeps post in the general section first. My hand is broken and can't reach the links for any of the sub-forums except the root section. a.k.a I'm lazy.

Just a note here,

the general section is not a "Catch all" section. there are sub forums specific to certain needs.

As mentioned earlier, there is not much going on the EVO front and many people are here to get questions answered.
