I can't freaking wait. I can't fall asleep. I really can't wait to see what they have updated for us (Sense and UI wise). The first thing I'm going to do tomorrow morning is get the update!!!!

yes but its kind of bittersweet because they didnt upgrade sense and thats what i was most looking foward too considering gingerbread is a very small upgrade

I've had gingerbread on my phone... It's nice but it doesn't really matter. I'm more looking forward to some new stable roms built on the official release.

Well I checked for a HTC software update just now and no gingerbread or update at all and its now 6am the day of this supposable update!?!? Anyone else check and not get it?

Update is now available. I am downloading it now. I am in Chicago. The weird thing is that we have two evos. My wifes doesnt see the update yet even though I am download it on mine.

I checked at 7:57am CST and started downloading the update. It is 109.4 MB in size. I lost connection and started again, got to 23MB and the download stopped. I've since checked for updates, and none are available.

*edit*
8:14am CST, I checked again and it found the update, but man is it crawling. Of course, with everyone hitting refresh...lol
