these dell phones are looking sexy . i think a 5' screen would be max . they would just have to be thinner they are now . i mean evo and hd2 even incred. is thin but if possible make em thinner but out of some really tough material . that would give the customers liking in the size . it's the body that makes it big . and i know htc stretches the screen out but now they are going to have to stretch it out even more an dnot have any type of bezel showing . just all screen on the front . but personally i would like to see a 5' screen in person on a lovely design basis and then deside . but 4.3 is already my swell for me . everything looks diff in person .
i heard that skinny jean ish . man i laughed . the evo i'm sure can fit in any pant's but women skinny jeans that's on the back of her **** and so tight it looks painted on. just haters . respect it how it is .

Reason: merged back to back posts
This hd3 is touting super amoled and it's all over the web. This was the one thing holding me back on evo. Oh and it's smaller than hd2 with the 4.5 screen. Can you say the htc " resolution"?
I think it's also sporting the duel 3G/ 4g chip.
With Dell doing LED, TFT looks long in tooth.
All I have to say is wow. Sorry, I'm waiting.
Edit. Well it looks conceptual from a French design firm, however this is where it may all be going in q4.

i highly doubt the hd3 would be here in the US this year . so why wait ? by time you get a hd3 you would have the evo for a good while . the hd2 itself is not a new phone but new in the US . hasn't even been out for 2months in the US yet . those rendors been out since last year .
that's what im saying Sprintfun. they are going for something that's not coming anytime soon . by time that hit's the US the next evo could be out or talked about . people are falling in love with leaks and not living in reality . always a new phone coming but you have to understand you have to be satisfied and phones like the EVO , THIS MAPPLE I MEAN APPLE PHONE , AND I GUESS THE INCREDIBLE PHONE , are phones that won't be trumpt for a good minute . these are not the regular phones that are nice and get pushed over in a few months . these are the next level up phones . like the mapple i mean apple phone was when it first came out . the makers of these phones will not be looking to push something out better then it in the same category anytime soon . maybe another hot superphone but not in the same line of it . these will be phones that have a new chapter every year with each one a little better . so get something that's satisfying and will last up until the next big phone . not next cool phone but next BIG PHONE like an evo 2 or next mapple if you like that or nexus 2 whatever . trust me you are going to be hurting your own feelings .
that's why the legend is not even announced for a US carrier yet . it's obvious who will get it but the hero came out in OCT . it would be to soon to be getting the legend. the hero at the time was something big until superphones became common as they are now . a phone needs close to a year or a year at least to shine then open a new chapter if its a series phone .

What would have benefitted them by giving out all the specs back in March of the phone if it wasnt coming out until June anyway? This way apple and other companies are still confused.
From what Dan told me today, 4G is a much, MUCH bigger deal than everyone is making it out to be. Some of those apps are mind blowing, they are capable of doing absolutely unreasonably awesome things!

This is something that I thought of also. In a way, we are eager to know more of the phone and yes, Dan the man Hesse and Dan (agent 25) with jackson have provided alot to satisfy our needs, but it also gives the competitors fuel to enhance or accelerate their product also. Maybe I am wrong, but I do not remember the iPhone 4G even mentioned as much or leaked as much as it has until after the announcement of the EVO.
From what I have been reading, the EVO is going to knock the socks out of the competition.

I was thinking of joining evo4gforum.net but we already have all the best sources here. The only reason I'd move there is if Jackson gets pissed here and starts sharing all the news over there. One less forum to check for the latest news. I bet most of their sources get their stuff from here anyways

i wonder if that site is down as much as this one?
i think this site is just fine . it's more to keep up with but i don't think anybody would leave this site even after the evo is released . only thing i don't like this site has issues with the email attempts . all other sites i know can send me a notification for every post so i won't have to read pages . i usually skim anyways and the important stuff or interesting stuff stands out .

Exactly TS, the Evo is the complete package. Let's run down the list for everyone one more time. I see anxieties getting high....
It comes with an industry leading 4.3" screen. At that the phone is only .5" thick which is comparable to the Nexus One. The screen is fricken awesome, best I've ever laid eyes on.
It has 2 CAMERAS!!! The back is the best a phone can have 8mp and records video at 720p. I don't know if any of you have seen the camera app but it is sickly! I will be tossing my camera and camcorder when i get this. The front camera is great too. If you are video chatting with another EvoLUTIONAL person or you are leaving a vid on someone else's wall its awesome.
What's even better is that you can play these videos right onto your tv via the hdmi output. Thats right not only can you record in great quality but you can transfer it that way too. NO OTHER PHONE DOES THIS!!!
4G. wOw. Best mobile web browsing experience period. Want to go unmobile? That's chill we'll let you hook up 8 OTHER DEVICES to our amazing data 4G network for a low cost of $15!!! Yupp you can have your laptop, skype phone, mp3, desktop, xbox, ps3, wii, and iPhone all on Sprint's 4G network at the same time. That;s how Sprint welcome's you to the now network in 8 different ways. Thanks Mr. Hesse =]
APPS MAN. You have never seen apps work like they will on the Evo. They will be constantly updating at the speed of light, and have abilities no OTHER phone can match. Because their not 4G and thereby not EVOlutional. Kinda sad....
So while we may have to wait a little over another month, you are getting the best device on the market period. Its not going to be like the droid or incredible was, with a better phone coming out in another month. It will be the king for a good 6-8 months, guaranteed.
So i ask you what more do you want with this phone? App market? Check. Multitasking? Check. Removable battery? Check. Additional Memory? Check.
Awesomeness guaranteed.
Hope that made some of you feel better and not so down, I'm always here for you guys!
Jackson

don't get me wrong, i like the site as well but there have been a lot of outages lately. that's all.
hey supersonical... or anyone for that matter i was watching an incredible video demo of the tv out and it seems that you can display the actual screen on the tv and whatever you do on the screen translates to the tv... i was wondering if the evo will also be capable of that (not that its something id use often unless it was to broadcast a movie to my tv) but still a cool feature i think
For a minute there Jackson I could picture Dennis Leary smoking a cigarette in his tough guy attitude reading your post for an EVO commercial

I just put two and tow together...possibly. Android 2.2 is being inrtoduced on the 19th and the Evo has a big mysterious event. Coincidence? Both on a Wednesday night? I don't think soo....
will the hotspot add-on be able to be added only on months that you want/need? say you don't normally need it but you go on a trip for a few weeks and decide you need it for that time. then when you get back home, just cancel it?
Introducing the Sprint HTC Viper 5G coming to the Now Network June 2015. lol
With Android 5.1. Front screen your regular touch for calendar etc, open the book up and you have your extra wide browser.

I don't get why people are so hyped up over rumored future phones when the EVO and other great phones are out now/will be out soon.
I understand the desire to have the latest and best tech, but even if any phones do materialize out of those "dream" specs, they won't be out this year.
Good luck waiting 6+ months for a device that may or may not exist, when you have an awesome phone like the EVO coming out relatively soon which will remain relevant for at least a year.
Oh that's right, you don't even have to wait 2 years to upgrade since most of us here are Sprint Premier members.
Stop being so incredibly impatient, I mean, as much as I desire the next greatest thing, I will be more than happy, aNd One could even say satisfied with the next evolution of smartphones.
If everyone here had enough sense, they would do the same.
Ok, I think I'm done now.
*Goes to listen to some dEVO*

Welcome spar10. Hope you're right, but so far nothing is confirmed on the release date. Right now, we're waiting for May 12th as the date that Sprint makes everything official.
thank you bill!
i'm going on what the manager at my local store told me (here in chicago). said they don't have official word but it's pretty well accepted that it will be june 6. he said it makes sense because sprint has put black-out days on employees so they can't take that sunday or any of the days through the 10th off.
i'm not one to feed an overly active rumor mill and i know this post does that to some extent, but it's from a credible source and has something tangible behind it. we'll see!

So pretty much some kid named Jackson in Swansea will likely get made fun of and/or beaten up at school tomorrow for being mistaken for someone writing in a phone forum. That is ridiculous... Ridiculously funny.

Hey all; sorry it's been a while, but I may be going to the May 12th event here in NYC. Apparently they're being real strict regarding invites (usually media can finagle their way in even if they're not on the guest list).
Whether I get to go or not, my coworker will be there and I'll have them txt me info the second it breaks! Will let you know if I get to go!
