Wallpaper

I found the icons here, they are from the "Colorful Sticker" icon packs. I did have to change the colors of the ones I used to better match the wallpaper.

The battery widget is called BattStatt.

I sent you a PM as well.

Ok, so, I'm kind of new to this whole Customization thing. I have a quick question:

When using LauncherPro, there are the 5 icons on the bottom (obviously). When I hit the Messages one, it takes me to the stock messages. Is there anyway to make it go straight to Handcent instead?

i dont know if someone makes these text icons, or if it's too complicated, but if it's not, these are what i'd like them to say. or if someone could instruct me on how to make them myself that'd be wonderful. as i posted in my previous post i don't have photoshop. thanks!

Long press on the dock the stock messenger (the smiley face) and then choose the option of 'change shortcut'. Then click on the empty space and assign the handcent app to it!

I be stopping in here a couple more times.

2 more questions:

1.) How do you change the icons on the bottom for LauncherPro? Market? It says custom images, but what does that mean?
2.) How are people getting rid of the notification bar?

and to piggy back, you have to change the shortcut before the new icon will stick.

for example: the launcherpro phone icon - long press > change shortcut > applications > then choose the phone
after that, you will get a new screen to change the icon.
(i hope all that made sense)

i didnt do the above and i kept loosing my icon for my phone. now that ive done the above, my icon has stayed!

Shoot Me works for me. Here's my latest.

Streamlined things with Launcher Pro. Using all 15 dock icon slots, eight of them open up folders. Also taking advantage of the new dock gesture function. One flick opens screen previews, the next widget locker where I have some utility widgets(what's the name of the "window shade" type app where you can place stuff on it?). The next pulls down notifications, fourth opens animated weather radar, last one a flashlight.

mine is, but it is slow when putting the screen shot in the shoot me folder. (this of course has changed since updating to fresh 3.1)

EDIT: looks like shootme is not showing up in the gallery, but it does show up in esfile explorer.

Haha! Well, I just like to keep my home screen plain. When I click the clock it takes me to AppAlarm Pro. The weather stuff can take me to WeatherBug Elite. So there's more info there when I need it.

But the other screens are more useful. Here's my friends screen.

And here's my entertainment/social media screen.

How do I make icons show up as icon packs in folder organizer? Where do I have to put them. It works to use the gallery but I feel like I should know how to do them as icon packs for convenience.

It's not an icon pack. The dock icons are custom made in Photoshop. I snagged someone's plain text icons and used that as a template. Pretty simple, once I figured out the size and transparency details.

Enjoy!

Okay guys, does anyone know what the battery widget is I see some people have? It tells the 'accuracy' and how many hours you have left on your battery. Thanks.

First time poster and I apologize if my questions are on a post that I missed.

1. I am not rooted. I am running ADW Launcher and love it. What I cannot find that I see on other screen shots is a numerical indicator of new emails / text messages that you would get on the default Sense UI.

Is there a setting that I am not enabling?

2. I checked the box to make ADW my default launcher. I also downloader Launcher Pro and have the Sense UI (of course). When it was unchecked and I would hit the home button on the bottom of the Evo, I could choose which launcher. How can I switch back to a different launcher?

Thank you for any and all information. This thread is so useful.

An example would be

1. ADW doesn't really give you that functionality....the ability to see how many missed calls you have, new texts or emails....LauncherPro, does however.

2. Download a little app called Home Switcher, it's a life saver

Speaking of this notification thing in LP, did anyone else have problems with it? I disabled it because sometimes it would show that I still had something new even after I had say, checked it in Handcent. So I'd have to go in twice sometimes to get the indicator to clear. It seemed redundant anyway because I already got notifications in the task bar.

Phone and email notifications have been fine for me. However I have noticed some problems with the SMS notifications too.

Typically the best way to get rid of the dock notification (for me at least) is to go through the notification bar and click on the received SMS. If I just click the dock icon/notification it's hit or miss as to whether or not it'll count the text read.

Hopefully this will get fixed sometime....

Didn't feel like jumping through all the hoops to take a normal screen shot using the non-root method. So I pulled out the camera. This is what I have so far after 2.2 OTA and a factory reset...

When in my car, my screen automatically changes to this Launcher Pro desktop (single screen)-

(Except the browser Icon is now different)

Then it rotates to landscape in my car mount-

My lock screen using Widget Locker-

Can the fonts be changed to Comfortaa without being rooted?

Is there an app like Home Switcher that works with 2.2?

And is there an app like SwitchPro (with a 4G toggle) that's free?

What is that power strip widget and/or icons at the top? Love the simplicity. Also like the simple clock and battery number percentage.

That's the SwitchPro Widget.
The clock is Tajm and the battery widget is BattStatt.
