At the risk of sounding like a total n00b, how do i get the clock/weather widget? does it come with the ally or do i need to download it? I got my Ally friday, just rooted it tonight and now i'm trying to figure out where to go from here to get the most out of this awesome phone
Hate to say it but this is the EVO Forums and the evo comes with sense which is made by HTC. LG doesn't have sense. You can though check out beautiful widgets....they have a clock thats close to it.
I found it online, there is also another version in the app called LauncherPro Icons. Believe it's a paid app from the market. I attached it for you. along with a red version.

Can you spill where you got the icons for the dock please?
There is a array of different colors and icons to choose from here. If you like them then make sure to say thanks and if you can donate to the DEV. I'm sure he/she would appreciate it. HERE is the link to the icon page found over at XDA

The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to exclamation_mark For This Useful Post:
That's a SwitchPro widget, It's a paid app/widget from the market. You can modify almost everything about it from what the icons control to what it looks like and even the color. It's a very cool widget and well worth the buck or two that it cost.
I have just read through all the posts in this monster thread, would it not be a good idea for people who post screen shots to include the details/ links as 60% of posts are replies asking for that info.
I have just started modding my Desire and have found all these very inspirational. Some fantastic mods and so many styles! Give it a few days and I will share mine! Keep up the good work.
Theme: Riptide9's ColorNClear
Used Better Cut to change ICONS
Used Apps Organizer to change folder Icons
Live Wallpaper = Asteroid Belt
I've tried installing this rom, but after it finishes loading and my evo starts up it force closes several programs and is never able to fully start up. Is there something I'm missing?
NO idea why the date on the digital time widget is wrong. Ill look into it. Oops, its not wrong, just a different format than im used too lol
I really like the 4 icon layout on the dock bar. What program are you using to do that? I can't seem to find the options for that look in ADW.Launcher or LauncherPro Plus. Also, how were you able to get the size of the icons to match the ones on the home screen? Thanks.

S/He is one of the brave souls trying out the new Miui ROM. I tried it and liked it also, but it is still having issues with the MMS (last i heard) and i'm waiting for that to be fixed before i try it out again.
This is one of the links to a thread talking about the ROM over at XDA MIUI ROM
At appbrain.com, you can browse wallpapers and push them to your phone to change your wallpaper directly from the web. You will need the following apps:
appbrain and Fast web installer. It is so cool!!!
Those who have wallpapers to share should please upload their wallpapers to appbrain.com to make it easier for the rest of us to try them. Thank you.
I read this thread all the way to page 34 - ON MY EVO!
If that doesn't get me a cookie I don't know what will. I now know that beautiful widgets is the answer to EVERY QUESTION IN THE UNIVERSE. ^_^
Here's where I'm at so far, thanks the ideas of good peeps in here.
Inspired by the "Android 7" design tutorials that mimic the "Windows 7" mobile layout, I spent some time creating photo-gallery icons for my normal homescreen apps.
I'm running LauncherPro on an unrooted DROID Incredible.
I cut down to just five homescreens... just don't need more than that right now.
Homescreens from left to right:
My Games home. For this and all of the homescreens I used only Desktop Visualizer widgets of various sizes. Most of them link to their respective apps, but the headers of homescreens 1, 2, 4, and 5 all link to specified Smart Shortcuts, which pops up a separate "app drawer" that shows only the apps you designate for that category. It works so much better than using folders.
My Entertainment home. All Desktop Visualizer widgets.
This is the main home screen. All Desktop Visualizer widgets except for the SwitchPro Widget. For some reason I didn't like this one the first time I tried it during my last layout period. But it does EVERYTHING I need it to do. Right now I have it set up for: LED flashlight, Vibrate/Silent, Screen Brightness, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G-Hotspot. For my current layout, I think it works really well.
Communications page using just Desktop Visualizer widgets.
The last homescreen... just a collection of some stuff that I use often enough to get a widget. Using only Desktop Visualizer, the header and the "Travel" widget link to Smart Shortcuts.
That's it! (Until I find the next awesome way of arranging things.)
