Default Has Anyone Bought a Gameloft Game

I was looking to buy NOVA, but I haven’t yet because I didn't know if the DRM policy had changed yet and the only option is to go to there site and download, but the only option is to select Verizon as the carrier.

Has anyone downloaded any of the games from Gameloft yet...? And what about Need 4 Speed Shift that was suppose to be announced on the 4th.. did I just miss it because of the hold EVO has on me?!

I was looking at buying Assassin's Creed but they only have Verizon as a carrier.

But then again, I've seen video of it being played on the Evo, so I don't know if to just buy it...

Don't buy Gameloft games!

They force you to buy them through their website.

Unlike Android Market apps, if you warranty your phone, replace it, upgrade it or do a system update that deletes your files, you LOSE THE GAME and have to rebuy it.

In this day and age, thats ridiculous. Gameloft wants to bilk you out of money, don't let them.

hey Clambert.... there is no NOVA via appbrian; however I did download it via gameloft... I'll let you guys know what I think... so far it was only a 3.4 / .5 mb download and once you've launched the game it'll ask you to download the rest of the 75 mb file. It didn't recognize my 4G so I had to go to 3G since I can't establish a wi-fi connection at work (competitors site... only allows it's phones to connect) oh well... half way there....

Indeed; however their sales will only see a major hiccup if they do nothing sooner than later. I bought NOVA and if I enjoy it will buy Modern Combat once the DRM policy has changed. If they chose not to continue with the policy change then I'll continue to enjoy NOVA, until that is I need a replacement or what ever, then it's gone and so will any further potential sales from me.

GAMELOFT.... I owned the Pre and while I owned the Pre I was thankful for your games and the ability to shop via it's market place and not yours... get on the ball. I alone bought almost every game available from your list of games on my Pre and planned (key word there), planed to do the same on my EVO.... whether or not I do... is quite up to you. I have the utmost faith things will be resolved in the very near future.
