Default Cheapest EVO Thread

Here's what I've found so far. Please reply if you can beat..

Phone:
1. $139 Wirefly ($189-$50 bing cashback). No CA tax.

2. $179 EVP after $100 MIR. CA tax on pre-MIR cost.

3. $199 Amazon (optional -$40 w/ AMZN VISA). Possibly no CA tax. Add to cart isn't working though

Cheapest Plans (for 1 phone, 450 mins, pre-tax):

1. $69.99/mo 500 mins ($59 + $10) w/ McGuire’s Law Blog Archive Psst… The Palm Pre is now available through Everything Plus
Can anyone confirm this works w/ EVO?

2. $69.49/mo 450 mins w/ 15% student discount

3. $73/mo 450 mins through EVP (my company isn't currently getting a discount but they still offered me 10%). No activation fee.

4. Rumors of a ~27% employee/referral discount simply by asking @ Sprint stores. Anybody actually pulled that off w/ EVO? Tips/tricks? Did you have to try a ton of stores to get it?

Only problem with ordering online is if you need to replace it (ala screen separation) it will likely be longer turnaround times

I traded in three blackberries @ $50 each (I think that's over now), and got $70 for renewing my contract. Sprint paid me $20 to take the EVO.

Should I cancel my order? I am going to get charged on the full $299 for sale tax, so after that vs $199 sales tax at Best Buy the difference is only like $15.

One thing of interest is whe I signed up using the site I was directed to, there was no option to sign up for the $10/month charge, and it says my bill will be $59.xx / month plus tax.

My employer has a corporate discount for sprint and has two phone + plan packages available. I am guessing many major companies that have the corporate discount will also have these packages. Would be prudent to check since this wasn't exactly advertised a lot except on our corp discount website.
The packages (including taxes for the phones) are :

1) $90 (for the phone) + 62.50 $ per month for the Everything 450 plan.

2) $116 (per phone) + 117$ per month with Everything 1500 Share (family)plan.

Both packages also throw in a car charger for each phone.
Note that the phone prices are after several rebates (100$ sprint + some promotional rebate check + gift card from the corp discount provider) so there is that hassle.

Paid $85 in black tie fees through best buy on my pre for the 8 months I had it. My pre broke, black tie couldn't fix it, got a new EVO for free.

Evo - $85 (and a 14mo advance on upgrade)

If I'm already receiving a corporate discount through my mom working at Bank of America, can any of these % a month off deals be used? or is it only one?

Just 1 corp discount per acct. The corp discount is not allowed w/ the Everything Plus $10 off. So the 25% slickdeals thing is probably best. Unless you're a Verizon employee.. supposedly they get 50% off on Sprint
